If I could give zero stars I would. In my opinion, incredibly rude owner to a coworker and very unprofessional when showing up to a company meal. Dessert seemed to be from a wholesale type place.

We cannot recommend Orr Catering—and especially Josie Walden—enough! They went above and beyond just providing food for our wedding. The charcuterie board they created was stunning and delicious, but Josie’s involvement extended far beyond catering. She stepped in as our day-of coordinator, and we can honestly say we couldn’t have done it without her.
Josie is an absolute boss when it comes to all things wedding. Every question we threw her way, she had an answer for, along with tons of amazing recommendations. Her expertise made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.
On top of being incredibly knowledgeable, Josie is also hilarious and full of energy. She kept everything running seamlessly while making the day fun and enjoyable for everyone involved. We are so grateful for her and the Orr Catering team—they made our wedding unforgettable! If you’re looking for someone who does it all (and does it flawlessly), Josie and Orr Catering are the way to go!

We absolutely love working with the JCO team! They are always incredibly organized, making setup effortless for all vendors involved. Josie is an outstanding planner, and every event she leads runs smoothly and flawlessly. Her attention to detail is second to none, and the entire team is hardworking and dedicated. They think of every possible scenario, ensuring nothing is overlooked.

As vendors, we often don’t even get a chance to eat or grab a drink of water while perfecting every detail for our clients, but Josie and her team always go out of their way to provide us with a warm and delicious meal. I had high expectations for Just Catering by Orr, based on the quality of their food in past experiences. Although I hadn’t personally worked with them before, I had heard from several clients at a wedding venue I managed that interactions with the company were challenging. However, since that was over four years ago, I was eager to give them another chance, especially considering their extensive menu and wide range of services.

The consultation with Josie began on a positive note, as it was promptly scheduled. However, when I answered the call, I was surprised to hear what seemed to be two people laughing together in the background. While I understand that people have good days, it felt unprofessional to begin a business call this way. When I was finally greeted, the person on the other end mistakenly addressed me as the bride, despite our prior email communication clearly stating that I am the wedding coordinator. I corrected her politely, but I noticed an immediate shift in her tone afterward, which made the conversation feel more strained.

We briefly discussed my clients’ preferences, including the possibility of a plated dinner versus a buffet. During our conversation, she asked if I had worked with their company before, to which I responded affirmatively, mentioning my experience at a venue I managed in 2019. Her response was, “Oh, I remember that place. I also remember how they shut down!” This comment caught me off guard, as that closure resulted in me losing my job. I brushed it off with a quick, light-hearted response, but it left me feeling uncomfortable.

As we continued, I inquired about their catering and bar services, expressing interest in both. Her responses were increasingly curt, and at one point, she even raised her voice, exclaiming, “I’m just answering your questions!!!” This outburst left me confused, as I hadn’t asked anything to warrant such a reaction. The conversation abruptly ended with her telling me to “have a blessed day” before hanging up.

After reading similar one-star reviews, I realized my experience was not an isolated incident. Unfortunately, the unprofessional and unkind demeanor I encountered seems to be part of a larger pattern. While I was excited to work with this company and potentially give them my business, this experience was disappointing and disheartening.

My fiancée and I had a consultation with Josie. She was just rude, the place was not welcoming at all and not clean. She spoke too fast and interrupted multiple times and wouldn’t allow me to finish. Such a poor and bad experience.

My experience with Josie at catering by Orr has been disheartening. As a bride I came with a need, but Josie wasn’t wanting to reason or understand us. I felt very intimidated and uncomfortable the whole time. I wouldn’t recommend the stress that I went through to anyone else. Please do your research before choosing this company and make sure to ask questions. As we were asking questions Josie was getting really confused and didn’t want to reason with us or how we were wanting to do our setup. She slammed her computer because she wasn’t understanding us and harshly exclaimed she doesn’t deal with confusion and she’s just gonna give us our refund back and we basically get lost. After this, me, my fiancé & wedding coordinator where in utter shock we had to reason with HER, when it is our wedding and WE are to be catered. I left feeling uneasy, stressed, disrespected and highly disappointed in the way we were treated and Josie’s customer service. Me and my fiancé decided not to proceed with Josie, and would not recommend this experience.

I just want to say thank you to Just Catering they supplied some of the food after my dad's funeral. It was incredible from the fruit platter which was beautiful, the Artichoke Dip and pita that tasted wonderful and was big hit. Everything that we ordered tasted great. The servings were plentiful and you could tell a lot of thought went into the presentation. Thank you so much Just Catering for making everything better on a hard day! I am going to use you again for any planned event.

Tamira, the Office Manager, demonstrated exceptional empathy and dedication by ensuring that every detail was taken care of. From utensils to plates, she went out of her way to accommodate our needs, making sure we lacked nothing.Elias, Lead Supervisor, assisted with loading everything into my vehicle, and other staff members lent a hand during the drop-off. Their teamwork and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed.What truly sets Just Catering by Orr apart is their commitment to treating clients like family. In the midst of our grief, they provided not only excellent service but also genuine care and support. I highly recommend them not just for their culinary expertise, but for the comfort and compassion they bring to every event.

If I could give Just Catering by Orr 100 stars I would give it to them. Josie is amazing and I would work with her again in a heartbeat.My wife and I used them for our wedding in October 2023. Josie went above and beyond in everything she did for us. She was a wealth of knowledge and advice on food options. The pros and cons of different foods based on what we were wanting and what would be best to serve based on our budget.She knows so many people in the wedding industry in the Tulsa area she was able to help my wife, who did not live in Tulsa at the time, find various vendors for hair and makeup. She was also able to provide a few bookshelves my wife needed to display family photos to make the day special.Her staff was extremely professional and did a phenomenal job the day of the wedding with all of the setup and tear down. Our space looked amazing, and it was all their hard work that contributed to that.We had a coffee bar along with mocktails at the wedding. Josie had set up hot coffee and cold brew with sleeve created with our names and date of the wedding. That was something she did special for us, and we really appreciated it.I wholeheartedly endorse Just Catering by Orr for any of your party or wedding needs.
