Very happy to try it, been a while since I've been able to have some Burmese food without cooking it at home. They were out of curry, evidently we went too late, so I'll have to go back.I regret trying any specific Chin state dishes, but I saw Shan khao swe and had trouble not ordering that even though I probably should have stuck to their region. Mohinga was good, fried tofu was good. Tea leaf salad was on the way to good but not quite what I hoped.I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Tulsa.

I went to Kai Burmese Cuisine with my husband and had a great experience! It was actually the first time to tried this type of food and I enjoy it. Totally thought this would be like Thai food but definitely a different experience, you won't be disappointed. The staff was friendly, the food was amazing and reasonably priced. Portions could easily be shared by two people. If I’m every back in Tulsa I will try it again.

Food was good sometimes and very different other times. What needs work is their customer service. The young lady took our order and didn’t say much. Just took our menus and orders without saying any greetings. Having a waitress with customer service goes a long way.

Aweful customer service- the staff was not welcoming at all. Very awkward. Of the two dishes I ordered, one was ok. They were both over seasoned, too salty even with rice. The beef curry was much to salty, and the beef tasted off. I had to stop eating it. All of my food came in different containers, which I appreciate, but there were random containers of ingredients they didn’t explain to me what went with what. I was charged $30, while the prices on the menu were less than $10 each. I regret spending my money here.

Average - ***So one of my friends adviced me to try Kai Burmese Cuisine when I told that I would like to have some authentic burmese food. Being an Asian, I love the spice and flavor of all kinds of Asian food. So thought to try Kai. Went there and there was no greeting at all. I found a table by myself. Someone came and gave the menu...Since its the first time, I didnt want to take any chances so ordered fried rice. Usually when you tell fried rice, they ask if you want beef/chicken/shrimp but here nothing of that sort happened so I thought they would bring chicken. Meanwhile in every restaurant, they give you water but here I didnt see that happening(maybe they dont want their customers to drink water lol). After a few minutes, the food arrived. They give you a soup and fried rice with egg on top. I felt the flavor matches exactly like a Vietnamese fried rice. Had 4 shrimp pieces(to my surprise) and thats it. Its an average one.. Didnt meet my expectations plus they need to improve a lot on customer service!

Wonderful introduction to Tulsa's Burmese community through food. The restaurant is smaller with a good menu that offers good descriptions and recommendations for people new to Burmese food.I ordered the shan noodles and hot green tea and loved them both!

Was supposed to get curry, basically got all chicken bones with a pitiful amount of meat. Service was mediocre to put it mildly and we weren't given other drink options other than bottled water. One of my family that was with me got her dish bland and was cold when it should've been hot.

This place never disappoint. I always come here to eat their Kyi Oo and it's always been my favorite from their menu. Services are always amazing. the only problem I have with service is that some times they don't pick up their phone.

Went here with a friend one random Sunday evening and it was PACKED!! Turns out there was a Burmese festival in town and so this being one of the few restaurants serving Burmese food, everyone was here. The food was good. I enjoyed my Shan noodles. But I REALLY enjoyed my friends La Phet Tha Min. It was a flavor I never had before and I wish I ordered it for myself. The staff was so nice and friendly. It was a really hot day (as is everyday, lol) and they bough us each a water bottle while we waited. Going back for the La Pher Tha Min!
