Feeling bad I haven’t been here before. Family owned spot with really good food. Had the costillas in a roasted tomatillo jalapeño sauce - truly sublime! Like a home cooked meal. Modest little spot in a shopping center across from the Campbell Hotel. Just go!
Seriously those carnitas are outstanding, I challenge you to find better! Also the asada huarache also very good. I also recommend their nopales taco and yes the red sauce is spicy but delightful. The owners are so genuinely nice and happy to see you!! We will be back for more carnitas!!!! Thank you!!!!
I have a partiality for, mom and pop Mexican restaurants operated in “hole in the wall” venues. They are especially easy to discover in Oklahoma. The best part is sampling the variations of common Mexican dishes prepared “home style” by the owners. And here we have” La Flama.”
