Tulsa Hills Location: We went on a Monday 11:00am. It wasn’t crowded at all. I ordered the Chicken Parisien sandwich. It was terrible. Even though something may not be good, I’m very respectful and usually give them the benefit of the doubt. The bread was hard and extremely dry. I then asked for mayo for my sandwich and the girl apologized. When she asked the chef for mayo and why, he made a face of like surprised but didn’t care. Regardless, No one offered to remake or anything. It was a real disappointment because this is a bakery/ pastry French cafe. There is no way this bread was fresh. There are so many other places with better food to choose from.

My friend and I stopped here for a coffee this afternoon. I ordered a small hot Chai latte and he ordered a large vanilla latte. The cashier that took our order asked me twice if I wanted my chai latte iced. I told her twice that I wanted it hot. What I got was a large iced Chai latte. What my friend got was a small iced vanilla latte that also tasted like Chai. Or maybe it was two iced Chai lattes. I don't know. What I do know is that neither of us got what we had ordered.

I use to love this place. But clearly the managers aren’t training their employees. Lost our order and another couples next to us. Gave us the wrong size but didn’t bother a second time complaining. I hope they can get their stuff together because the food and atmosphere is always good.

The people there were passive aggressive, and the food is hastily put together and does not have good presentation. They also consistently get orders wrong. I could barely hear my friend who was right next to me, and we also saw cooks in the back not even wearing gloves.

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, at around 11:00 AM, I had a distressing experience at La Madeleine. I waited 5 minutes at the ‘dine-in order here’ counter, stepped away to return my menu to the front , as I returned, a staff member announced, “Everyone dining in, come to this line.” About 15 people cut in front of me. The lady who said that, on staff, gave me racist vibes because of her smirky expression after she saw what happened, they did nothing to assist me despite my prior wait. I left without ordering. Management must address this.
