Do not recommend the gumbo. You barely get anything for $15, or more and they serve it in a plastic container even if it's not to go. They gave me a couple crackers in a Ziplock bag. The service is extremely slow and she referenced my bank name instead of my name to determine who I am to give me my order.

I believe the food here is very tasty and good quality. My boyfriend and I tried this place initially last year. We had a good experience, they were out of what he wanted (jambalaya), so we both got the chicken. We visited them again last night around 7:30. We ordered on the kiosk after the young lady working asked us if we were paying with cash. There was a large group of people waiting for food, so we anticipated a wait. We sat at a table nearby, and kept periodically looking up at the staff working the counter, who were communicating with the back window. We assumed our food was on the way, as we were some of the last patrons to order at the kiosk. However, when the group of people who ordered before us finished their food, we knew something was wrong. We approached the counter and I could see a tray of food that had been sitting there for a while. The employees working had their backs turned to us and were chatting. When the young woman finally noticed us, she gave us our food that had been sitting there. By this time it was 8:00. I know they were looking forward to closing on a Friday night. I’ve worked in food service, from fast food to dine in service. This was extremely disappointing. We are paying customers and deserve respect. She knew our food was just sitting there. We were the last ones waiting in the area. Thankfully it was still sort of warm, and we didn’t want to make a fuss. But it honestly hurt my feelings with how little they cared. We won’t be coming back, Nola’s cost around the same price, and you are treated with care.

1st time going here and must say, for a piece of fish cut in half as 2 pieces ?and mediocre Mac and cheese for $10 definitely upset with the quality of Mac and cheese, and fish lacked seasoning and was mushy not crispy at all, then the potato blocks were tough not soft wedges or crispy at all, service was good and environment but that's about it

Hey potato's or fries they were RAW . No getting around that. Chicken and jalapeno were fine . Gumbo is always good. Hey I have to be honest. The service was great, always is. I really hate to say negative things, but raw potatoes is not acceptable for the money you pay.

Upon arriving My wife and I were greeted by Gabie, a beautiful soul that was knowledgeable about Cajun food. I am from Louisiana, so you can't have the words "New Orleans" anywhere near your restaurant and not have knowledge about our fine cuisine. We ordered the Mac and cheese with chicken and bacon, the chicken, sausage and shrimp gumbo, and 2 piece fish with Lanyapp fries. All of which was deliciously flavorful and tasted like family made it. The mac and cheese was amazing, and I ordered the jalapeño honey sauce on the side to dip the fish in. The food is flavourful and authentic. I even hung around and told people I'd reimburse them if they didn't like their meal. One customer said "you don't have to pay me back, I ate everything but the smell."

Went there for the first time today. As a Baton Rouge native, this is one of the best, if not the best cajun food I've had up here. The people here were awesome and were a joy to speak with. The food was immaculate. I got the honey jalapeno chicken and I don't think it lasted more than 2 minutes on my plate. And the red beans and rice is, arguably, the best I've ever had. PHENOMENAL!

I guess I ordered too late(730ish) cuz the fish tasted like the grease needed to be changed. But even with the slightly burnt taste of the grease, it still tasted good and was still crispy(thanks for the holes in the box!). As a native New Orleanian, I really wanted to like the Gumbo when I saw that crab. It had a great smell, great roux, all of the meats, but it was just too salty. And I love overseasoned food!!! The Mac & Cheese were good. Overall, the flavors were good enough where I would consider trying y'all again, but maybe earlier in the day so I can get the fish fried in fresh grease.

Quality of food was so unexpected. Not at all good unfortunately. We had the gumbo which was in my opinion the worst I've ever had. Couldn't actually tell what meat we had other than some kind of canned meat with rice floating in watered down broth... Everyone was friendly but I wouldn't go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed my entree! It seemed a bit pricey, but the food was top quality, fresh, and quite tasty. I didn’t care for the ordering on the screen since I didn’t know I needed to add the honey jalapeño sauce if I ordered the honey jalapeño fish. I think I missed out! The potatoes were excellent though, and the jalapeño cornbread was irresistible.
