Recently the Son and I were in town (Tulsa) and decided to make the drive over to Linda Mar and grab a burger for lunch.
So glad we did.
I've know about Linda Mar since, well, forever because I had family in Oakhurst, and I spent time off and on in that part of town over the years.
We both had a double cheeseburger with bacon and fries and we split an order of their jalapeno chicken.
The burgers were the real deal. Great crust on the patty, fresh lettuce and tomato, piled so high I thought I might have to unhinge my jaw to get a bite.
The chicken was a welcome addition. We wouldn't ordinarily get it in addition to the burgers, but since I don't get out that way hardly ever I wanted to try it while I could.
Well cooked and seasoned, the addition of the jalapenos made a great flavor.
Staff were all friendly and helpful. The place is small, and divey. Just the kind of place I love.

Always been one of my favorite places. Only one time tater tots tasted like fish and alittle to much salt on burger.

Really wanted to love this place, cheese balls were ok. Idk if they’re supposed to be chunky or not but my cheese wasn’t melted inside it was just a chunk of cheese. 5/10 on those

My burger was good, but dry I added mustard when I got home and it made it better. I still will have to say Arnold’s is better in my opinion. Burger 6/10. Not my favorite place but definitely not bad. I’d give them another chance. ? would love to try the fried mushrooms next time.

Wonderful as always, I would reccomend a burger here to anyone who enjoys a good burger. Cheese balls are fantastic, onion rings are great, and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

Cori was our cashier and server. She was welcoming and very happy and nice. Our food was so fresh and hot!! Delicious. Hat's off to the chef. My husband and I will definitely be back. Love this place. Enjoying lunch and watching some Andy Griffith show. Mighty fine place. Family oriented.

Linda-Mar is an odd little building, with lots of racing memorabilia and more Andy Griffith TV than you can shake a stick at, but the burgers are glorious. There are big, tasty portions at this delicious, local, greasy spoon.

Parking: Plenty of parking, but you may have to be creative with the adjacent lots.
