I know this is probably not the most authentic Vietnamese sandwich but darn, is it still so good. My spouse and I come here all the time when we’re in the Tulsa area and it’s always good! The sandwiches are delicious and this time I got the fried rice with kung pao ground pork meat and kimchi vinaigrette. We always share a large kimchi fries too and they’re just so delicious. They give such a generous amount of kimchi which is just sour enough to make you pucker your lips. It goes so well with the pickles and the creamy cheese! I always recommend this to people if they’re looking for something unique.

Tasty Banh Mi but wish they had strips of pork or beef instead of the ground beef/pork (Kung Pao Pork). For my taste buds makes it feel a bit lower in quality. Will try other options at next visit and consider an upgrade. Cool logo.

The food is lifeless and inauthentic. I got the lemongrass fried chicken sandwich. It was bland. Lacked seasoning. If there was any saving grace, I would say that at least the chicken was crispy. When the owner's made a conscientious decision to include Banh Mi (bánh mì) in the name, you would assume that they were offering delicious Vietnamese sandwiches with humble roots that is commonly enjoyed by all walks of life. That being said, you would be mistaken to assume that coming here.Do you know that person that says "I love Mexican food; I eat Taco Bell all the time!". Similar vibes here. The food offerings is a Frankenstein of generalized white-washed takes on Asian flavors. Kung Pao Chicken or Wontons? Chinese. Kim chi? Korean. Thai Chili? Thai. They're great on their own, but when you put it between some bread and throw some pickled carrots on it and pass it off as "bánh mì", it comes off lazy, unimaginative, and ignorant. It is truly disingenuous to include the "Banh Mi" in the name of the restaurant when there is nothing Vietnamese about this. Calling the restaurant "Lone Wolf Sandwiches" would suffice. Doing that would clear up a lot of confusion and temper expectations for unsuspecting patrons. Do yourself a huge favor and get a real bánh mì. You can find them at most Vietnamese restaurants for half of the price you would spend on a sandwich here.(FYI on your menu, it says BANH MI SANDWICHES. You're literally just saying sandwich twice.)

I’ve been here twice in person and have absolutely loved this place. Sandwiches were delicious and honestly planned to frequent here but now I’m not so sure. I used door dash last night and the quality was so sub par I felt like I wasted my money. When I was eating all I tasted was bread and sauce and when I opened the contents, I had barely any meat or anything much else in there. The little meat I had was stuck to the side of the bread at the bottom like someone just scraped whatever they had left and called it a sandwich. The bread itself was hard but that’s not even my main complaint. I’m not sure if this was just an inconsistency because I used door dash and didn’t eat in like I did my past two visits but the inconsistency is large enough I’m honestly hesitant to come back in again. Really disappointed.

As a Bahn Mi connoisseur living in Los Angeles , this spot on my radar for a decade now. And it was well worth the trip! Lone Wolf’s Bahn Mi are in a class of their own. Perfect execution on both bread and filling. 10/10

Kimchi fries were really good but needed more kimchi! Would return.

It was crazy to see the chef who made my sandwich put a little chicken on my sub, then eat a handful for himself. He chewed with his mouth open as he built the rest of my sandwich. Also, the bread was at least 6 days old, very hard and not satisfyingly crispy like a banh mi should be.

Always a solid choice for some interesting fare. Add kimchi to elevate any dish. Everything we’ve had there is top-notch.

This place NEVER misses! Every time I order from Lone Wolf, they get it right AND it's delicious! Seriously, no matter how busy they are (tonight was in the middle of the Friday dinner rush at 6:30), they are ALWAYS cordial, ready, & delicious.

My partner and I ordered takeout from here on a recent road trip across the country. If I lived in Tulsa, this would certainly be a spot I'd frequently visit. We tried a fried chicken banh mi, wonton chips, fries, and the rice bowl with candied bacon & egg (The Jam). Everything was excellent! Portions were very generous; we couldn't finish it all in one sitting. The bread on a banh mi can make or break a sandwich. This was exactly what we wanted! Crusty outside, soft inside. The perfect vessel for the explosion of flavors between the buns.I will be craving The Jam bowl until I get it again or figure out how to make it myself. The textures and flavors were totally unexpected and absolutely delicious. We didn't know what to expect from the wonton chips and had no idea they'd be cinnamon/sugar instead of savory. It was the perfect addition to all the savory food we had. They also made for a nice snack while we cozied up and watched TV later. If we're ever back in the Tulsa area, we will certainly eat here again! I'm already scoping out the other dishes I want to try.

Great place, eat here all the time and after over 2 years of eating here consistently I’m leaving this review in hopes that management will fix the issueAnytime I order food here the portions look large but is always short on protien, if you get the fried chic bowl you are lucky to get 4 pieces of chicken in thereand leave this review with complete honesty, the food taste good, staff is great and atmosphere is inviting.the bahmi and bowls will be 90% veggies and bread/rice and 10% proteinI didn’t take a picture but will start if the issue is not fixed in hopes they do fix it
