We've been many times and can tell you that Lowdown books some incredible artists and bands. The atmosphere is cozy and very cool as it's located in the basement of an old revitalized building in Arts District in downtown Tulsa. Every seat has a great view of the stage and the sound is awesome. Don't expect much from the table or bar service, though. Most of the staff seem bothered to serve and unhappy to be there. Saw a Blue Whale Comedy show there with Ali Macofsky. The microphone went out on the second guest and also lost connection during the main headliner. The speakers were alternating between one side of the room and the other. Pretty much amateur hour for any audio engineer, it literally ruined a couple big punchlines.
This club was recently adopted by the Tulsa Community foundation and it is PHENOMENAL!!!! I recommend the flirt or the blueberry lemon drop drinks! Love their weekend shows and how secluded it is! Wish I could learn more about the history of the
