Great atmosphere. Great service, clearly putting her best into the job. Perfect Schnitzel.Parking: Patrolling security for the shopping center.Kid-friendliness: Music and atmosphere that would drown out an ocassional outburst from a kid if you have one. So I'd say kid friendly / family friendly restarunt. Lively atmosphere that noise sensitive kids might be bothered by. But not crazy loud. Just not quiet.

The place was cute. And the food wasn’t the best or worst German food I have had. The guy on the accordion was our favorite part! My little boy was dancing in his seat and making up words to sing with him!Our waitress left a LOT to be desired! Yes they were busy but she was ummmm rude and like kind of hating on the restaurant. She started by coming to our table coughing then gave us attitude about us not having a menu. She never refilled our drinks, and although a bunch of tables like ours were done eating and were just waiting on our check she was sending new customers away saying they had no room for them. One family even asked if they could wait and she gave them attitude and said no. I asked about dairy bc of food allergies and she had to go back to ask multiple times and each time acted like I was in the way for asking if it had dairy. Overall I found her rude. I would not mind coming back but if she was my waitress I would walk out.

Cute place. The schnitzel was very good. The potatoes were simply fried pieces of potato with no flavor at all, not even a grain of salt. The hot potato salad was like soup and ran all over my plate. First time I've seen that, so choose your sides wisely here. The dessert looked good, but I couldn't tell you if it was because the waitress plopped the ticket down and never asked if we wanted any.

What a great find! If you love and appreciate going to local restaurants that have a passion for carrying on family traditions and the love of their passed down cooking traditions then you definitely want to check out Margaret's. I know I'll be back when I'm back in Tulsa.

Margaret's is the best! They have the best food in town. My husband and I have gone many many times with and without the kids, everyone loves Margaret's food! We went again last night to celebrate our Anniversary and again we were not disappointed. We had the potato pancakes, the Margaret's special for two, and a cherry strudel. Everything was amazing! The sauerkraut soup was delicious, it was my first time having that and I loved it! The service is always excellent! Especially last night, the lady that waited on us was just as amazing as the food! She was very attentive and friendly. She did a great job! I can't wait to go back to Margaret's again!

Today was mine and my son’s first time here. My son is also part German and tried German food for the first time so it was special to us. We got top notch service as soon as we walked in the door! We were here on 10/17/23 around 3:45 ish pm. To our beautiful and sweet waitress, I didn’t get your name but you made this experience so pleasant. Even when you saw I didn’t eat all of my food, you told me to be honest if there was something wrong so you can make it right and that was so sweet. Our food was amazing and for my extremely picky, texture sensitive son to eat it says a lot! We will definitely be back as much as we can. We can’t wait to try the Black Forest cake.

Incredible, fresh, authentic German food. Live music was playing. It was a perfect place to experience German culture!

We loved it. $114.09 including tax and tip for Herring Filet appetizer (way above average), Reuben on Potato Pancakes, Kassler Rippchen entree, two glasses of Chardonnay and a liter of Oktoberfest. The to go boxes consumed later were just as tasty as at the restaurant. Margaret’s epitomizes the definition of perfectly satiated.

We found this restaurant while searching for "hidden gem restaurants" in Tulsa. What a great find! The restaurant is a small place in a shopping center. But, don't let the locale or size fool you. The food was really good, and to top it off, they had live German music by an accordion musician the night we were there. We had the Octoberfest special consisting of goulash, sausages, red cabbage, and German potato salad. They also have many other authentic German selections. All the staff were friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this unique "hidden gem".

We have been going to Margaret’s for years and years because of the food, the staff, and the atmosphere. We’ve continued to go after the new owners took over even though the food just wasn’t as good because we knew it might take some time for them to learn how to do things right. We also have expected prices to go up as they have everywhere. Our experience the other day, though, was the final one. The food was okay with the exception of the German Chocolate Cake (which we have loved so much that we have ordered whole cakes for events). It wasn’t as salty as the last time, but the taste of baking powder was there (and the cake should be worth the $10.99/slice). The service was great—very attentive waitress. The main problem was the bill. I had heard another patron talking to the waitress about the overcharge on her bill but didn’t think too much about it because mistakes happen. When we got our bill, my husband’s sandwich was $14.99 instead of the $11.99 on the menu. My bowl of soup was $7.99 (the Fri-Sat. Charge) instead of the $5.99 for a bowl on Tuesday. That is not an honest mistake. We’re going to miss Margaret’s.

Ok authentic looking German there were two of us. We were truckers that parked our trucks at a local truck stop and ubered over. I love German Chocolate cake, this was the best I've ever had! The schnitzel was top notch I was hungry I ate two with spatial, and two liter stines of authentic German beer. My friend that I was dining with was German he loved it all too.

So disappointed in the change. Prices went up a lot, guessing about 25% and quality went WAY down. Jagger schnitzel was dry and tough, red cabbage had so much clove I couldn’t eat it and the food was at best warm. They charged 5.99 for 1/2 cup of sour kraut. My husband got the cabbage rolls that were smothered in what tasted like a vodka sauce, yuk. It was described as a light tomato type sauce, which it should have been. The only reason they get 2 stars is the service was exceptional and the cake is the same wonderful cake, but I do believe used to be 8.00 is now 12.00 and a smaller piece. This is an absolute shame, the only good German place in Tulsa is a place I will never go back to.

Great service and cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed the Special tor Two. Great weiner schnitzel and lentil soup. Our server was lovely. We forgot our to go box and she ran it out to us. It was slightly pricey but not bad. All-around great experience. We look forward to coming back.

Margaret's is an absolute jem of a restaurant! Have never had a bad experience there. Recommended to lots of friends and they've all been back. Crave level good food and staff is always friendly and helpful for those not familiar with menu. Don't forget to get a piece of Black Forest cake to go for desert. Balaclava goes great with next morning coffee too! Kid's love the spatzel n cheese, so do grown ups!
