Love McGills. Feels like family! The steak and green beans are so good. The deviled eggs are amazing.

Great place. Has a romantic feel to it. The food and drink are very good. Excellent service.

Dark wood, soft lighting and just the right mood to enhance an ice-cold martini and a hot steak. McGills is there to offer South Tulsa the kind of culinary experience a mature adult should expect in this world.

This was our first visit to McGills and we look forward to returning soon. We made a reservation and arrived early. We were immediately seated and Larry our waiter was superb! The food was perfectly cooked and served hot. I had scallops with risotto and mushrooms and my wife had a 10oz steak with vegetables and both were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend them for a special event or celebration.

Food was great! Service was a little slow but probably seemed slower because there was a very loud obnoxious woman sitting nearby that we thought would never leave. Acoustics in this location are not the best.

Excellent service, food, and drinks. The lobster pasta is delicious. Everyone, (4of us), loved the entire dining experience...

We went to McGill's for our 55th anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and the timing of the service was perfect. Our waiter Refugio was one of the best waiters we have ever had. He was so pleasant and he paced our meal service perfectly. He remembered and delivered on a couple of variations that we requested. He kept our water and tea glasses filled and we never even noticed when he quietly walked up to refill the glasses. He was terrific! They also served us a dessert for our anniversary. It was so sweet of them. There were a group of men there with a group of young girls. The young girls were a bit noisy. I am glad that fathers were out with their daughters but I wish they had kept the girls at their table instead of the girls running around the restaurant. It was no fault of the restaurant, just bad timing for us. Overall it was a pleasant evening with great service and good food.

We had an early dinner so it was very quiet. Larry was our waiter who met us at the door and led us to our booth. I do believe Larry is the best restaurant waiter in all of Tulsa! His pace was perfect as was the meal. He knew just when to approach the table to see if everything was OK and when to approach to ask about another drink. It couldn't have been a better experience!

We booked McGill's for my wife's birthday and everything was perfect. The halibut daily special and the lobster pasta, an old standard, was delicious. Cannot recommend this place more enthusiastically.

I had high hopes for this place and chose it over the suggestion of Salt Grass by one in our party who is local.
Unfortunately, this place was a hard let down.
First the good:
Our server was amazing! He was attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly. We never went without refills, he was understanding of our group interactions and respected those with regards to taking our orders etc.
The atmosphere is nice, and felt clean and inviting.
The bad:
The food is a disaster. For starters we had a French onion soup that looked like the grill tip had been scraped into a bowl and hot water poured over it. Our wedge salads were disgusting. The dressing was straight cream, the salad consisted of the wedge with the base still attached, 4 small cherry tomatoes, and literally 4 crumbles of bacon. The filet mignon while cooked to order, wasnt trimmed properly and did not look like anything worthy of a $50 price tag. The steak Gerard had a saving grace in the mustard sauce, but the steak was extremely chewy at medium rare and again, not at the quality expected for $50. Lastly the chocolate bunt was dry, and the chocolate sauce used tasted like it was from a Hershey’s squirt bottle.

My advice (I hate to say this), save your money and eat at a roadhouse chain for better quality food, or for the same kind of atmosphere and price tag in Tulsa, but much higher quality food go to a Salt Grass.
