Easily the best coffee in all of Tulsa.

I’ve checked out almost EVERYTHING in the area and couldn’t find a place that was more consistent with their quality.

Everyone who works here is absolutely friendly.

Down to earth vibes here.

Cute cafe area and it’s also a store where they sell a number of unique items you can’t find conveniently.

100% a staple if you live in Tulsa.

They have 2 hot and ready flavors available everyday.

Typically a ā€œnon flavoredā€ & ā€œflavored.ā€

ā€œNon flavoredā€ as in, nothing fancy but of a different bean.

And ā€œflavoredā€ as in, actual flavors.

i.e vanilla, hazelnut, etc.

If I could give zero I would!! Went in to ask for an iced americano with a splash of cream and was met with a nasty ā€œthat’s not an americano thenā€. As someone who worked at a coffee shop in WA state for three years, and was visiting with my dad who grew up in Italy, an americano is the base and how the coffee is put together, adding cream does not change that. Even if in this case if that is correct (which is not) you are working in customer service, there is no reason to act like a brat and be rude to customers. My dad - who once again was raised in Italy, and myself who was raised in what is considered the coffee capital of the country are disappointed with the quality and absolute nastiness of the service here. If you serve coffee please know what you’re taking about.

This was the most unfriendly and unwelcoming environment upon walking in. Employees were hanging out, eating lunch and ignoring me to the point where I thought they were also customers. My latte and cappuccino were very bad, on top of that. The store has a lot of things to look at, as the only positive.

I genuinely wanted to support a local coffee shop over larger chains like Starbucks or Scooters, but unfortunately, my experiences here have been disappointing. Despite giving this place multiple chances, I’ve consistently encountered unfriendly service, making it feel as though my presence was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. The coffee itself is underwhelming—nothing that stands out or justifies returning. Given the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I can’t help but wonder if they’re from friends and family rather than actual customers. I truly hoped to make this my go-to spot, but the lack of welcoming service and subpar coffee make that difficult.

Good coffee selection, they have whole beans and they will grind em for you! ? Good pricing. The ladies that run it are lovely and very helpful. Also, they have a nice oil selection, kitchenware accessories and wonderful gift options for any occasion! 10/10 recommend!

I was deeply insulted and thoroughly embarassed for my friend that I came into Mecca Coffee with this afternoon.

I had been helping a friend move some furniture and due to a misunderstanding of the bus schedule, I found myseld stranded at 41st and Peoria, the midway point for my return trip home.

I called my friend who had been lounging in her bath robe, enjoying the coolness of the afternoon. Being a good and loyal friend, she quickly threw some clothes on and promptly arrived to give me a ride home.

As I sat down in her car, she asked "Do you mind if we stop real quick at Mecca Coffee?"

"No, not at all, what is it?" I asked.

She exclaimed "OH MY GOD, IT'S COOL, YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE!" She continued telling me many of the things she loved about the place as we cross the street.

We walk in and were immediately directed to the discount aisle in such a manner as to imply that we couldn't afford to even be shopping there. Yeah, there were some cool items but nothing that could outshine the high mindedness and judgement that we experienced.

I was deeply insulted and humiliated as it was done loud enough for everyone else to hear. Then the way we kept being asked if we were ready to check out or if we were finding everything okay and making it perfectly clear that we really were not wanted there; only added to the immense embarassment that I felt for my friend.

She was so excited to introduce me to your business. She had fervently shared all of the great things I was going to experience as I entered your store only to have you shame her in such a disrespectful way.

You may think you are high minded but in reality you are nothing more than a generic, second hand, regurgitated flea market. Actually, you are much lower than that. Flea Market merchanants appreciate their customers. In every measure where it really counts, you greatly pale in comparison. Exceptionally so in class and customer service.

Took a quick trip to Tulsa this weekend. Wanted some coffee so my wife and I decided to try Mecca Coffee Company. Great little cafe with a bevy of ground coffee choices as well as a full service hand made coffee bar. The owner made our Lattes and they were great! Also very budget friendly. E loved it. There’s also a cooking store with all sorts of goodies. Will definitely be back

Snobby. Not helpful at all and don’t acknowledge their customers if they don’t look like the right type of people to shop there. It sucks because I like supporting local businesses and these people couldn’t even give me the time of day to ask if I needed help finding anything. Stood at the area for herbs and seasonings waiting to be helped and they weren’t even busy.

Great selection, but AWFUL customer service. The ladies who work here seem to be very unfriendly and unhelpful. There’s a difference between being available and willing to help and hovering. It was almost as if I was being followed and then rushed out of the store. I saw two other customers wait at the register for approximately 10 minutes while the workers ignored them in favor of taking down Christmas decor. They eventually gave up and left their purchase on the counter.I purchased two pounds of coffee for a gift, had it not already been ground, I would’ve left as well. Also, not for nothing, this establishment refused to take masking precautions seriously at the peak of the pandemic, leading to at least three visits from the city heath department. If you’re looking for good coffee or olive oil, Whole Foods is across the street.
