I drove by a few times and decided to stop in and am so glad we did. Everything on the menu sounds yummy. We went with the Reuben and whole hog and man both were awesome. The blueberry Bbq sauce was a great addiction and went good on everything to help balance the cheese and when I say cheese I mean cheese! Will be back and recomend strongly to anyone that loves cheese and good food!

We were going to grab a burger at Arnold's tonight, but a happy little accident happened. They were out of meat, so they closed. I had a hungry (and tired) 18-month-old to feed after a long day at the zoo so I went to trusty Google. I found out that Her Meltdown Diner Too was really close by. I thought "Why not? I've seen them on Facebook."We arrive and before I anger my son with getting out of the car and back into the torture chamber (carseat) immediately, I poke my head into the business and ask if it is okay that we come in because it's within probably about 20 minutes of them closing. I said "I've got a hungry baby and just need to feed him."So what did the lady say to me with it being that close to closing?"I'm here til 8 anyway. Come on in." And she meant it!She then had us pick a booth and got our drink orders. While we were deciding what to get, my mother stated how she didn't like blueberry so she wasn't sure about the blueberry BBQ sauce. This wonderful woman was so patient and helpful that she brought a cup of it over so my mom could sample it before deciding. Which it was awesome btw!We never once felt rushed. We felt welcomed. To top it off, the Jalapeño popper melt was amazing. I added ham because yum! The peach jalapeño jam that accompanies it was delicious. So many flavors that beautifully complemented each other. My parents got the slaw BBQ sandwich. The coleslaw was made fresh and was so delicious. We were all trading sandwiches because both were just that good!Evan, my son, seemed to enjoy pickles and the cookies that come with the sandwiches. LOL, toddler diet. His grilled cheese was great, too, because we sampled it as well. The service was wonderful, the lady was welcoming and patient, and the food was glorious. It is easily one of my new favorite places.Even my mom said, "You're a damn good cook!" to the lady. That's a high compliment from my mama.

This diner is a true gem. It is a little diner, but big on taste! The food is incredible! They serve grilled cheese melts with a variety of options. I had the roast beef melt, and my boyfriend had the whole hog melt (pulled pork, bacon, and ham in a grilled cheese melt). The service was great. We have added this to our rotation of regular places to eat.

Food is EXCELLENT! Different sandwiches covered with cheese melted on the griddle. Very unique and delicious, you just need to experience it to appreciate it. Owners are very friendly and attentive to their customers. Highly recommend

I love this place! The Roast Beef melt is my fave. You might want to call ahead and make sure they aren't out of your fave for the day. Try it you'll like it!

I’ve been working through a list of local, non-chain places & Friday night was Her Meltdown Too. Let me tell you- I was so pleased, I’m gonna be thinking about this for awhile. Linda, the cook/waitress was a delight, so personable, & the ambiance was perfect… but I was shocked that we were the only table on a Friday evening- one other table finished up as we were ordering. Apparently this is more of a hot place for lunch, not dinner- so this is good news if you’re looking for a quiet dinner spot!Anyways- fried green tomatoes- delicious. I ordered the Jalapeño popper sandwich & my mom ordered the Reuben… both were gooey, cheesy, & large portions… My jalapeño popper sandwich came with a peach jalapeño sauce they make in-house- ?? I’d like to bottle & drink it.Anyways- just sharing some good in case someone has forgotten about it or never heard of it. Hope you have as good experience as we did!

We’re always looking for new restaurants to try so at the beginning of the week we thought we would try Her Meltdown Diner on Southwest Blvd.We walked in and was greeted by a dog,it belonged to a lady that worked there. As far as we know she could’ve been the owner.I couldn’t get over the fact that she had the dog in the restaurant and was preparing food. I’m sure the health department is not aware that she lets her dog stay with her in the restaurant. She chased it around the table before bribing it with a treat. My fiancé ordered a grilled cheese that looked burnt to me. And the cookies that she said she made that morning were hard as a rock.If you’re thinking about eating here, you might think twice unless you’re okay with a dog being in the restaurant while your food is being prepared. The lady was very friendly but…..

This place is great. Stop what you’re doing right now, and go. Super tiny, but super great food. We went with the patty melt (great!), chicken fried steak melt (even better), and the Reuben (excellent). Friendly service, owner is awesome. Will definitely be frequenting here.

The lady was very nice, but Sorry. My grilled cheese tasted like jail food: even the pickle and the cookie were store bought, and not good at all.

Finally went there for the first time. Very small place but the Monte Cristo Grilled Cheese I had was awesome! Can't wait to try all the other sandwiches!

Super cute place. Amazing sandwiches and soup. We ordered the jalapeño popper sandwich… we had to split it because it is super rich, it comes with chips, pickle and a cookie. The special was chicken chili, the best we have ever had. The bowl of chili was huge. Come here hungry. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Check this place out!!

Very cute little place with nice people. We got the Ruben and the west Philly. I really liked the Philly. The meat was soft and the peppers had a good flavor. The cheese was nice and gooey. The Ruben was more a grill cheese than a Ruben. I liked it but had higher expectations. The fat girl in me wanted a bigger cookie. We will definitely be back. Too many options to try

Omg. Super yummy food and large portions. The jalapeño popper sandwich is very unique, it comes with a peach jam to dip your sandwich in and chips and a cookie. We also ordered the chicken chili. It was the best we have ever had and the bowl was huge. Super friendly staff. Come hungry!

I ordered this messy delicious contraption and it was the best ooey gooey comfort food I've had in a long time! Has a little spice but I love spice and the peach jalapeño jam I got it on the side in case I didn't like it but I could have ordered it on the Sammy and on the side it was that good!! Plus who doesn't love a pickle and cookie on the side!! Will def be back!! We enjoyed it and the service was great!!
