Mercury Lounge is a unique and inclusive dive bar that offers a welcoming atmosphere and great music. The bar features live performances, including notable acts, and has a reputation for excellent sound quality, amongst the best in town. Happy Hour on Fridays and Blue Grass Brunch on Sundays are popular events, with Sundays being gas. The bar is decorated with eclectic items, and even the bathrooms are worth a visit. Drinks are decently priced and nothing too pricey. The bar is LGBTQIA affirming. The sound for live music is awesome. It's a great place if you love music, with gobs of character and authenticity, plus the best Americana/ country/ honky-tonk/ soul and rock musicians in town. The outdoor area is great. It's a must-go place.
