Merritts has the absolute best pastry in Tulsa! Had to pick up 2 dozen cookies.I Did have to wait a few minutes for them to finish in the oven; however, they are worth the wait. Can't say enough nice things about the staff. Both my knees are messed up, and unfortunately, I'm on crutches. They were kind enough to place the huge box of cookies in a handled sack for me and carry the sack to my automobile for me. Not only is the pastry the greatest, but so is the service at Merritts!!!

I would give full stars on the food itself and the friendly girl at the counter. However, DO NOT go if you are hoping to get a premade cake and add any personalization. You’ll get a better result at Walmart or Reasor’s with piping letters. This is supposed to be a 1 year wedding anniversary cake, as the baker who was going to make it cancelled on us last minute. When I talked to the manager about this, he said the decorators aren’t there and it’s just front counter people doing the piping, many in training. He also said I should have ordered a custom cake (blaming me for this “emergency” of mine). Glad this is just for me and my (non picky) husband, and not a whole party of people. I feel bad for anyone wanting “Happy Birthday” on their cake. Won’t be returning.

I got a maple covered cinnamon roll with nuts on the top and it was freaking fantastic. if I lived in Tulsa I'd be eating these things everyday

Fantastic bakery with delicious sweets. Their jalapeño sausage rolls are really tasty as well.

What a great place to stop for some cookies or other treat. The staff is great.

In my opinion, wait, in our opinion this bakery is really good and highly addictive.
Thank God we haven't had anything bad here at all. Everything is really good. Very tasty Sweet tooth. Satisfied everything that they have here. Well most of the stuff cuz we haven't had everything here but it is really good and from the meat pie to the apple fritter to their cookies to the pineapple upside down mini cake. It just seems that everything else would be good just like what we've tasted and we've been here about three times already. This is definitely worth a trip no matter where you live to come here and grab a few things or maybe a bag full of things. It won't waste your time, especially if you have a sweet tooth. If you don't, the meat pies are really good and the staff is friendly. Really good with recommendations and they run out of stuff kind of quick. I mean they do have things there but you could tell that by the time they're getting ready to close. They've gone through most of the stuff. That's really delicious. The rest of the stuff is good too. Don't get me wrong but I'll be going back again. Enjoy the shorts of my wife and her enjoyment. I love her.

I’m pissed! I placed an order through “doordash” to pick up cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday, I get there and they say well it timed out so you will have to place another order. So I had to pay another 23 dollars for cupcakes! I never even got my order! Why did I have to pay DOUBLE for an order because it timed out? Just give me my order! I want the manager to rectify this situation!

Bought a $45 cake for my birthday and it got pretty dry after two days, so by my birthday it was pretty dried out and the icing was a little hard. I'll say I should have just got it the day of my birthday but they made it seem like they wouldn't have any cakes the day after Christmas. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Im going to edit and explain better why this cake is so disappointing hence one star because I love this bakery, we come often and am shocked by how bad this cake is. When ordering I asked (tall skinny young man) for Angels, Santa and to please make it whimsical like snowmen and whatever else is fun (candy canes etc). I told him this cake is for kids. I was charged $90 (which is fine. Ive spent hundreds on cakes before and understand they are worth it). Picking up however the cake had two angels slapped on it and two hollies. Nothing else besides piping. When i asked him where was santa and everything else we discussed he said he didn’t charge me for that. Sir why not?? I paid extra for decorations, we discussed what i wanted, why did you not charge me appropriately? He also said “I think it’s whimsical” completely dismissing this is not what i asked for. I should not have taken it. There was a long line n didn’t want to hold it up and Im not good with confrontation when he was obviously dismissive of me. I was so excited and pumped the kids up for this and almost cried when they looked disappointed because as I said, it was nothing like they wanted and I had asked for.
One more point to bring up. I was supposed to pick up this cake at 1pm, got there 1130 & cake was not done…which at the time I didn’t think much of, thought they were adding final touches but as my family is pointing out this very much looks like a last minute rushed job. For $90. I feel scammed. We also bought a dozen sugar decorated cookies n those were great. Im hoping owner reaches out to me to please make this right

We always order our cakes from here and they always do a great job. This last time it was a horrible cake. The design was not what we asked for. I asked for a white cake with some basic happy birthday, and blue borders. Cake was for a 14 year old boy. The design we asked for was super simple and still managed to mess it up. I asked the guy for the blue flower looking things to be removed and he said no. they said we had requested them. Had to go home and remove them myself only making the cake look uglier. Not to mention the buttercream tasted like chemicals. Won’t be returning after this experience.

I LOVE THIS BAKERY! Reminds me of NY/NJ. There is something for everyone. We ordered petite cakes, cookies, and rolls! The pineapple upside down cake is delicious! The staff is friendly and kind! FULLY STOCKED! They use butter, not lard!
