We ate breakfast there on Saturday morning. We both had fried chicken with eggs Benedict. Also hash browns and biscuits and gravy. The whole meal was delicious, the biscuits and gravy were outstanding. We topped it off with Bloody Mary’s. We had plenty of food for lunch. Great service, friendly staff. Clean and efficient.

3 words- Food, Cost and Tonya.
My family and I have been coming here to metro diner in Tulsa Hills regularly for years. We frequent at LEAST once a month. And for the past few years, every time we visit, we always ask for Tonya. She is the sweetest, attentive waitress. We don’t know Tonya on a personal level but fell in love with her energy and service. She’s so great with the kids, just about remembers our meals- which we get all the time but are a little needy with how we want things ?
I always get their chicken and waffles which is traditionally served with a strawberry butter and a special spicy sauce. I typically opt out of the strawberry butter and spicy sauce. I do add an order of home fries (delicious diced potatoes) and two eggs over easy. Let me tell you…. Their fried chicken is something else. It is always so very juicy, hot, the skin is soooo flavorful and crispy. I get it all the time!
My niece also gets a half order of the chicken and waffles and she will eat it all. She’s a little stick of a girl.
Their flavored teas and coffees are also always a must get. Yesterday we got the cinnamon crumble coffee and their peach tea. Can never miss with the peach tea and the coffee was great.
Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, especially on a Sunday but that is no problem. We usually just go over to the shops while we wait. They’ll take down your phone number and text us when we’re ready.
They do have this new limited time Holliday Feasting options- one that is screaming my name is Stuff ‘N Waffle with Turkey. It’s stuffing that’s been pressed in the waffle maker with mashed potatoes on top, turkey, gravy and I think even some cranberry sauce. I need to come in for dinner to get this (they serve it all day.) must be popular because TODAY (yes I’m coming back to back ?) which is Sunday, they’re already down to one order left.
The price to feed my family here is incredibly reasonable. 70 bucks for 4 of us is great. Compared to the HATCH, metro is the place to be. Hatch is so expensive for nothing.
I’m going to end this with Tonya again. I am HUGE on service. I work very very hard to earn my income and when I have bad days, I never let that reflect to my team. A lot of service restaurants can be a hit or miss with the food or service but metro hits it every time. And Tonya delivers EVERY time. She’s so sweet, she takes care of the kids and we always have a very good experience. We brought her back a good luck camel trinket from Dubai as another way to show we truly appreciate her.
Kid-friendliness: The offer a coloring page with things to keep the kids occupied and Tonya is so patient with the kids while we teach them to give their own orders.

Ordered on delivery app and let me tell you, it was delicious! I got the chicken and waffles. The waffle was perfectly paired with the strawberry butter. The chicken breasts were tender and not dry...absolutely perfect! Coming from ATL I was concerned about finding good options in Tulsa but this is now my go to for breakfast hands down!!!! Thank you!

Tonya is amazing! I took my best friend for her birthday and she had never been here before. We ordered so much food and it was cooked to perfection in a jiffy!
Be careful paying in cash. Told me the total was $11 and some change I gave her a $20 and she gave me $7 back. When I asked for receipt she said she could not print it off because it was cash transaction
