First visit today but definitely not the last. Everything was as close to perfect as you can get. We all got something different and no complaints from anyone. The sweet potato fries were the best ever!!!!!!! Still so many things still to try!!!!!!!!!! The service was also amazing!!!!! So glad to have found this place ❤️

Tried Misfit Kitchen last Thursday and was a big fan. The atmosphere is fun and different. Our waitress was great. I ordered a rewind the track drink and it was so good I got a second. I usually like sweet drinks, and this one was not. But I still loved it. Very refreshing. I got the frying Nemo. The waitress suggested getting extra sauce on the side which was A++. The bread was soft and chewy but there wasn’t too much of it. Fish was cooked to perfection. The tartar sauce was different but so good! Would definitely get it again. My boyfriend got the fish and chips and he liked it! House fries and chips were very good. Chocolate cake?? Must get. It’s not your average chocolate cake with frosting.. but also not sure what all it was because the menu just said chocolate cake. Would definitely get that again too! Excited to come back and maybe try something new (might not though.. sandwich really was bomb)!

It's worth going here just for the men's room. Between the fact that it's the best smelling men's room I've ever experienced and the incredibly interesting wallpaper, you'll not be disappointed. In addition, the food and service were great. I'm not much of a downtown person, but I loved it!

I wish I could post negative stars. Went to have lunch here on a weekday and found there wasn’t a lunch menu. That’s fine, decided on the Little Rustic for $34. While that was an extravagant lunch item, I was excited to try it. However, after watching our waiter look at me multiple times, leave a table to go to the restroom, pick up their tickets to pay, take them their receipts and then pick up their plates taking glances at my waiting face several times and in 2 mins still didn’t come back out to take our order. We ended up getting up and leaving and telling the hostess that being waited on is key to keeping your restaurant open. A short walk across the street and we can get served with a smiling face and quickly. Will never suggest anyone go here. So disappointing! Edited to remove anything about food as we never even got to try it.

Might be my new favorite place to grab lunch when I can splurge a little. The atmosphere is nice. The nachos were so good, and huge. The chicken Definitely sharing size! I ordered The Wifey sandwich with fries. The sandwich is very messy but very yummy. The best spicy chicken sandwich I’ve had. Can’t recommend it enough.

Unique menu! My husband had the Royal burger and said it was good! I had a little bit of the chicken tenders with buffalo sauce! Lightly breaded and so tender and delicious! Myrahn was our server and did a fantastic job! Cool vibe and have garage doors so we had a window seat to enjoy the fantastic weather! Great addition to Tulsa!

Was visiting Tulsa from Chicago and this place was awesome. We came in on a Sunday evening and it was HAPPY HOUR!! I LOVED THAT. Usually happy hour is during work hours so this was amazing. Besides that our server was great and the food was delicious. I'll definitely be visiting again whenever I'm in Tulsa.

Misfits Kitchen is a concept by Joe Garrett of Rustic Chophouse in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Nestled in Tulsa’s vibrant Arts District between two of the city’s premier steakhouses, Prhyme and Bull in the Alley, Misfits Kitchen offers a more casual and upbeat alternative, featuring what some might call upscale bar food with fun twists. Under the guidance of Chef Perez Rigo, Misfits Kitchen brings lively and imaginative fare to downtown Tulsa.
The atmosphere at Misfits Kitchen is inviting, with a bar equipped with TVs and comfortable booths, all set against an industrial modern backdrop. The background noise is moderate, and the tables and booths are well spaced. Service for the evening was provided by Ali, who, along with the manager, collaborated on tonight's offerings. Ali delivered attentive and engaging service, even crafting a beautiful mocktail from scratch. Chef Perez also stopped by to discuss the menu and his inspirations for the flavor profiles.
First up were some “foreplay” dishes, starting with Misfits wings served with carrots, celery, and ranch. The wings were flavored with spicy honey and cooked perfectly, featuring a crispy exterior that contrasted beautifully with the juicy interior. The sauce had initial notes of sweet honey, followed by middle notes of chicken and delicate end notes of garlic and spice. The heat intensified throughout the bite without being overpowering, making it a very good wing.
Next was the “uvas con queso,” featuring prosciutto, drizzled berry sauce, spiced candied pecans, grapes, burrata, and naan. This dish was excellent, starting with sweet, tangy grape notes tempered by the creamy burrata and salty, earthy prosciutto. The combination of grape, prosciutto, and burrata was wonderfully conceptualized and executed. Each bite made you want to slide the baked naan back into the delicious concoction for more.
The first entree was “everything butterfish,” featuring pan-seared cod, coconut cream rice, lobster stock, and a sun-dried tomato sauce. The fish was cooked well, and the rice had a beautiful texture, akin to a porridge with tiny grains in each spoonful. The creamy, slightly sweet coconut and rice flavor profile harmonized perfectly with the rich, delicate tomato sauce, full of spice and butter notes. While the cod was well-cooked, I wondered how sea bass or redfish with their sweet, nutty flavor profiles might have worked in this dish.
The final entree was the “Skirrt Skirrt Steak,” featuring guajillo-marinated skirt steak, chimichurri sauce, orange candied carrots, and apricot Brussels sprouts. The skirt steak was cooked to a nice medium, with a beautiful flavor combination of rich beef, tangy herbaceous chimichurri, and endnotes of salty tangy brine. The orange candied carrots were slightly firm, with an initial sweet flavor giving way to a slightly bitter aftertaste—a unique and fun concept. The Brussels sprouts had a nice sear but were slightly soggy and on the sweet side. The dish felt like it was missing a component. Given the similar textures of the steak, carrot, and Brussels sprouts, perhaps a Heston Blumenthal-inspired crispy potato would have balanced the steak at a different level.
For dessert, the Key lime cheesecake was presented. It had a creamy texture and a nice flavor profile, with tangy lime giving way to the beautiful cream cheese. It was a well-done cheesecake.
Overall, Misfits Kitchen achieves exactly what it sets out to do: offer elevated bar food with unique and fun twists. The portion sizes relative to the price will appeal to many, as will the welcoming atmosphere. The range of offerings at Misfits shows a clear theme and style, reflecting Chef Perez’s well-executed flavor palate. I would definitely recommend giving Misfits Kitchen a try, as it provides a fun and lively dining experience perfectly located in Tulsa’s Arts District.
