Me and my boss just had lunch here a few days ago. It was our first time there so we were very excited to try it out. What a disappointment it was! I ordered the Chile rellenos and the batter on the peppers tasted like it was cooked in old oil and they were so soggy! Chile rellenos are supposed to have a crispy exterior (and not cooked in spoiled oil). Additionally, they serve salsa in little tiny (super tiny) cups! The salsa tasted terrible also. I do have to say we had great service and our server was super nice and friendly. We spent a little over $50.00 (which is way too expensive for lunch) which was so disappointing also. Needless to say, we will not return back to this restaurant.
MOLE! It was the best I have had since my mother made it for me from scratch... The food is authentic not the Texmex style but the real thing! The staff is amazing and very friendly. The food was presented well and quickly.
Every detail of the meal was perfect.
Chips were fresh.
Salsa was good.
Margarita on the rocks was the best I’ve had in Tulsa thus far.
Beans were somewhat watery but had good flavor.
Rice was really great.
I had the flautas and they were good.
Service was good also.
Overall some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in Tulsa so far. 😋

The owner Savino tried to make our server pay for our drinks. The chips were cold and the back of the restaurant was dark and dusty. The food was alright and our server tried her best. Overall not a great experience.
Edit: That doesn't change the semi-poor quality of the whole experience and the fact you tried to make her pay. The main thing was a miscommunication to the semi-english speaking server, we didn't realize we ordered a regular margarita with house tequila plus a shot, we wanted a top shelf Don Julio margarita. So when it came out we thought the margarita didn't have alcohol and the shot was to add alcohol to the margarita. There was a miscommunication that you tried to make her pay for.

The food was good enough, until we saw a roach & then it was inedible. Service was poor, it took 15 minutes before someone checked in with us, then the only apologized for the cockroach. No manager came to speak with us. They took our food away & then never brought us a check, we had to go find someone 10 minutes later, to pay. I will never go back and don't recommend them.

Go to Mi Pueblo down the street at 21st and Yale you won't be sorry. 80.00 down the drain here!!! Air conditioner wasn't working, drinks were horrible. Food was tasteless. We paid for our food and went down the street, Mi Pueblo was never this expensive. We were shocked at the food bill ratio. We tried it. Don't waste your money!!!!!!!!!
Cheese inside the enchiladas was not an appropriate cheese for enchiladas. Our food didn’t come out together and we were almost done by the time the kids received their food.
