We had a wonderful experience for my husband's birthday. They had a note on the table wishing him a Happy Birthday. Everyone from 6 yrs to 70+ had a great time. If you're adventurous try the OMAKASE CHEF'S TASTING MENU...it was a fun experience. Must try the cotton candy & ice cream!
We've been to Mr. Kim's once before (right after it opened), but decided to try the Chef's Omakase and the menu and sake pairings were phenomenal! It was $100 per person plus a 20% gratuity, but the opportunity to participate in a private food tasting event with the chefs and minds behind Mr. Kim's and Yokozuna was an experience I will not soon forget. I don't go out to eat to cook my own food so that part was a negative for me. Can't get all the veggies and meat on there so you're eating piecemeal. Prices a bit high for what you get and have to cook yourself. Not a fine dining experience. People in shorts and tacky looking. I won't go back but the wait staff was good. So it's not their fault.
