This place is trash and the food isn't even worth giving to the homeless.

Waited an hour for food, and it was cold!!! My whole family was very disappointed. Will be choosing another place for a family gathering.
Eric is hands down one of the best servers. He was timely, efficient, anticipated requests ahead of time, was personable, and most importantly provided excellent service.

On the border has always been one of my favorites. Over the years the service has been on the decline. I’m a rewards customer. I always ask if I can have my ticket added to my rewards and can I have my rewards applied to our ticket. The servers actually do it about 50% of the time. This is disappointing. However today did they not only not add my rewards they didn’t give us any food either. We arrived at 11:20am. The server had 2 other table sat closely to the same time. Which made us understanding to her. She took all 3 tables orders at the same time. The other two tables received their food (one of them being a table of 6). At 12pm the server came to us and said she was sorry that the kitchen couldn’t read her order but our food should be out soon. The other two tables were done eating and several other tables that came in after us had received their food too. We had to get to a soccer game which we explained in the beginning. At 12:20pm we waived down another server and asked if we could pay for our drinks and queso. He went to get the manager, who had looked at us on 3 different occasions during the last hour. She came over and we explained that we needed to get to a soccer game. She said our food would be right out, we explained that we couldn’t wait any longer and just wanted to pay. She took my debit card charged me full price for my 1/2 off queso with my rewards and drinks. So not only do the servers not use the rewards neither do the managers. Long story short, this is the final visit. I won’t be back. The employees have finally ran off this loyal customers.

This location looks like a haunted restaurant. Most of the lights are busted on the outside of the building. The main sign is in need of repair. It's very dark in the parking lot. Please fix the building. If the building manager is comfortable with the outside looking unkept, who knows what they're sweeping under the rug inside of the restaurant that we can't see.

By far, this On The Border restaurant is the best in Oklahoma, maybe the tri-state area. Eric, the manager, was so polite and respectful during our visit. Eliot, the bartender, was fantastic, and the food was top notch. We had complicated orders, a sleeping baby, and lots of requests - this place made us feel right at home! Thank you so much, y'all!!

The food was hot and delicious. We were seated very quickly and our server took our order and was back very fast with drinks and chips. We were very happy wth thee food but the service we received stood out. I would love to shout out Mckinzie our server. She was remarkable. Great staff overall.

If I could leave a 0 star I would. Not because of food but purely service and environment. My husband, sleeping baby and I walked in and a couple walked in behind us. The host addressed them and offer to seat them. The couple allowed up to be seated as we walked in first. She seats 2 additional tables after us and never comes to our table to greet or take our drinks. Although we waited 10 minutes she already provided salsa and drinks to the 2 couples who she seated directly behind us. She actaully did it immensely following them being seated. There was 5 other tables with 2 waitress, 3 of which had meals. Nothing seemingly overwhelming or would add reason to a 10 minute delay in even coming to say hello to us.
After speaking with the manager we left. I advised him of what happened and told him in a room full of white folks this seems a type of way. He assured me that was not the case. Although, his solution was to provide an alternate waiter. Appreciative of the alternative, we were never assured the issue would be addressed… only that he could get us some different. The lack of understanding where I’m coming from and not just defending his staff was underwhelming so we left. SHE DIDNT EVEN SAY HELLO let alone any other words to us. But was overly friendly with the 2 tables she sat after us. Not sure how else than to see it as some level or prejudice when you’re the one black table in the room.

We had lunch at "on the border. They offer a large number of choices. Quite flexible to offer those with special diets. I had 1 cheese enchilada and 1 chicken. It came with beans and rice. The beans are delicious.
I like the atmosphere. It's roomy yet cozy. Our server was excellent. She kept our drinks fresh and full. She was really personable and knowledge. The server gave us assistance in making our meal choices.
Lunch was awesome and we will be returning

I was very disappointed with my recent visit. Following the passing of my mother-in-law, who loved this restaurant, our family decided to dine here in her memory after church. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet our expectations.
Upon arrival, we were told there would be a 15-minute wait, but it took 30 minutes to seat our party of 11, even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. Once seated, it took another 30 minutes before our server took our food order, and nearly an hour before the food began to arrive—piecemeal and not at the same time. Two kids’ meals were completely forgotten, and some dishes, like my brother-in-law’s fajitas, arrived lukewarm with no sizzle. Most of the food was not served at the appropriate temperature.
We chose not to complain further at the time, as we had already waited so long and were simply eager to eat. Additionally, the floors were sticky, which further impacted our impression of the restaurant’s cleanliness and management.
Unless there is a noticeable improvement in service and quality, we’ll likely choose to dine elsewhere in the future.
