Zenida was a fantastic server and really directed us well. Wish she could be our server wherever we go. We loved the hummus and Carrol's and salmon. However, the steak was not very good. Full of gristle and very hard to cut and chew. I was very surprised at the poor quality of the meat for the price I paid. It was supposed to be a NY Strip but cut and tasted like a chuck round. Ate at the bar. Every dish we ordered was terrific! I had the scallops and SO had the short rib dish. Servers were mostly attentive, but there were a few periods during the evening where it seemed no one was tending the bar and unfortunately I did have to wait five minutes for a fork after my entree was delivered. That would not deter us from returning. There were many other dishes on the menu we would still like to try. Highly recommend. We will be back.
Their hummus is the best in town. The other food we ordered was off today unfortunately. My over easy eggs and my friends scrambled eggs were both cooked too hard. This is a big deal for me, because those runny yokes are what make the dish in my opinion.
