DONT come to this bar if you are under the age of 50 , the blonde older bartender will treat you like you’re stupid and make your time at the bar very uncomfortable while staring at you from the other side. The bar itself is pretty cool and would’ve been very enjoyable if they had better people working sad to see. Also, if you ask for a vodka soda, be prepared to get a cup of water with a splash of vodka in it

CASH ONLY. They won’t tell you until it’s time to pay. No lime for a shot at 4pm on a Friday? Bartender did not know how to make any specialty shots when asked. You literally have to know everything you want and communicate that. No Menu for drinks or food. Atmosphere is chill if you just want a drink. Drinks served in all plastic even when asked for a glass. Great bar for a beer only.

Hello.. I'm 62 now and remember going to Orphas back in the early 90s. I would take the bus downtown and usually eat at Coney Island and then go across the street for drinks. A plate of food was 50 cents. Drinks were a buck and draws were a quarter as far as I remember. A lot of the homeless hung out there. This was the early 90s.
