The hotel is so beautiful. I love how they’ve carefully honored its history while adding modern flare. The staff are over the top accommodating. Especially Maria, who helped me and my family out after I had made a mistake when booking. Great hotel!!

I didn’t have anything to eat but the waitress was very attentive to our large party. Of course the atmosphere was amazing with the sights of downtown Tulsa. It was actually a day that cooled down and was nice to be outside. A+++ The Mayo is worth it!

The outdoor area is one of the most beautiful places to be as the sun is going down. I definitely recommend coming here. Ask about the extra staircase that allows you to go onto the very top of the Mayo Hotel. It must be unlocked and an employee present.

Great atmosphere and service. The bartender recommended a purple drink that was pretty good.

I travel often to Tulsa to pick up my daughter and then drop her off, stayed one night at the Mayo first time, arrived late at night and had to fly early in the morning, I forgot my diamond earrings on the bed and realized 10 minutes after I left, I called front desk immediately and the guy didn’t care, basically told me to send an email and they’d contact me if they found them. I trusted him because every hotel saves or mails forgotten stuff, even tho he was not helpful I emailed before boarding my plane. I told him where exactly I left them, nobody responded to my email, I emailed again and again even offered them a reward, finally someone emailed back and said they had been calling me and no earrings were found. Another review on here say they forgot their shoes and weren’t allowed to re enter the room to get them, so fully confirms that they just steal their guests forgotten items! Who manages this place? Wonder if they know or if the owner knows too! I liked the hotel and even made a cute TikTok advertising it…. I’m so disappointed and will never stay at it again. Last week when I dropped off my daughter I stayed somewhere else. Bunch of thieves! Rude front desk!

Timeless Luxury amazing great experience. Gracious staff. Smells like fresh cut flowers. Make memories you won’t forget or regret. Will be back many more times if live provides the opportunity! Bring a camera.

This place was a sad disappointment. The room was grungy, smelled off and had a strange vibe. It was spacious but there was an off putting noise coming from a locked room, the sleeper sofa had no bedding and looked like it would be a torture device. We left the hotel after eating at a mediocre gift shop/take and go coffee shop which was the only food option. We gave our keys back to the front desk without compensation but just couldn’t stay. We asked for a credit but they said they couldn’t accommodate us which didn’t seem right. We ended up staying at a different nearby hotel which was wonderful.

Drinks are average. Service is minimal at best. Too of the roof is neat. No shade at all in the heat. Could easily put some shade over a few tables.

Disclaimer- We stayed at the Mayo Hotel only one night. Pros- The hotel is beautiful and timeless. The lobby is picturesque. The rooftop bar was awesome! The room we had was bigger than we thought it would be. We thought the staff was very friendly and helpful (Maria was great)!! Valet parking was great ($30 overnight) Unlike other reviews, we did not feel like we were a burden when we asked for help. It’s location is very convenient to a lot of things. Room: Very comfortable bed and a huge walk in shower. They have ihomes next to the beds that you can charge you phone on without a cord. Keurig and plenty of coffee with nice signature mugs. Robes provided as well. My only con would be that there minor things that appear to be dated like the hallways and it can be noisy but the air in the room helped with the noise.

Beautiful old hotel in the middle of downtown Tulsa. Large rooms with high-end finishes. Very quiet. The hotel has a lobby level coffee shop/bar/restaurant, but there is a fantastic rooftop bar open several evenings a week.

John Snyder, the owner greeted us, brought a luggage cart, and introduced us to the hotel manager. Great customer service and hospitality. The rooms are amazing, clean, and comfortable. This is an historic hotel with all the charm and ambiance you would expect. What a gem! Our new place to stay in Tulsa.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and had an amazing experience. The room was nice and the staff was accommodating and extremely helpful and friendly. Maria at the front desk went out of her way to make sure we had a special anniversary celebration! The penthouse bar had a great vibe for a romantic date night.

Views are great. But being in such close proximity to the A/C units make it hard to enjoy. Also, $10 for an amaretto sour with no egg white or garnish is… disappointing to say the least.
