My daughter and I visited Pinkitzel on Cherry St. to buy some cupcakes and macarons for my sonâs birthday. Upon entering the empty store, we were approached by an employee and immediately the vibe felt off. As we were trying to make our selections, she was very curt and condescending when I asked simple questions. My daughter and I have both worked in customer service, so we were trying to offset her energy by being friendly, but her attitude never improved. I would have just left our items on the counter and walked out, but we needed them that day, and I wasnât going to let a disgruntled employee ruin the day for us. As we were checking out, I asked her name, and she said that it was Lindsay and added that she was the store manager. We were floored. Then we thought surely this was a one off, and she must be having a terrible day, because no store manager would ever treat customers that way, but then we looked up the reviews. I canât believe so many people have had this same experience and nothing has been done about it. To the ownersâŠif business is lacking, I can tell you why. There are too many great bakeries in town where you can pay less and have a much better experience. Itâs a shame because the concept is fun and the shop is adorable, but the vibe was awful. We wonât be back.

Went with a friend to buy cupcakes today. Place reeked of Pinesol. Clerk was extremely rude so I didnât purchase what I planned. My friend bought a cupcake and we left. If you are going to be hateful to people you leave a bitter taste. Go somewhere else and be treated well.

I stop in often to take my granddaughter and today is the last time. I hate to write a bad review. Itâs not my nature, but the woman who works there has the absolute worst energy. She is rude and finds pleasure in it. My daughter went today, and she asked for a sample of ice-cream. The lady replied âitâs blue bell, so it tastes like blue bell, and Iâm sure youâve tried blue bell before.â In other words, no you canât have a sample, and Iâm going to shame you for asking. You feel like hurry up and make a decision and get the hell out of my store. This is the 3rd time sheâs made us feel unwelcome. Itâs almost like you pay to get roasted. Everything else in the store is lovely and delicious. It has such beautiful potential but a hard no from our family.

I love this place both in OKC and in Tulsa. Pinkitzel has changed locations two or three times and I follow them wherever it goes. It's dang delicious! The kids love the available candy, of course.
If you visit Tulsa, make this a "must stop"!

Down in Tulsa from the rodeo and came to Cherry Street. We came here because my husband and I love sweets. Such a great experience and I love the atmosphere of the store. The manager was very sweet as well.đ©· Definitely will come back when Iâm down this way again!
