This place is AMAZING. We’ve had the Parmesan shrimp, hush puppies, grilled chicken and andouille, blackened red fish and the caramel apple bread pudding. Everything has been out of this world. Their fries are my favorite I’ve had from anywhere. Bourbon st cafe used to be our go-to and it’s still very good but the flavors here are unmatched.

First time at this restaurant. Greeted at the door and seated quickly. Service was very good. A large menu selection from sandwiches, burgers, and seafood. We got the burgers and they were excellent.

This was our first visit to the Red Door, conveniently close to our grandson’s football game. We were greeted right at the door and seated quickly. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The restaurant had a comfortable crowd for an early Monday dinner.

I ordered the Redfish & Chips, and my wife chose the Salmon Salad. Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared — and the fries really stood out! Even the iced tea was exceptional.

But as good as dinner was, it quickly became a distant memory once the Apple Pie Caramel Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream arrived. DANG! That dessert alone is worth the trip.

Our waiter, John, was an absolute rockstar and represented the restaurant wonderfully. Great food, great service — we’ll definitely be back soon!

An amazing place!! Absolutely the best food! We started with the yummiest fried green tomatoes, then I had the French Quartered Parmesan Shrimp with asparagus, grilled to perfection—the best I’ve ever tasted! My husband had the shrimp and grits, which he thought were fantastic. We finished the evening with key lime pie, and it was out of this world! Can’t wait to go back!

We just discovered this wonderful restaurant!!!
Apple Carmel bread pudding is currently on the menu, and is delicious😋 the bourbon Sauce salmon is so tender. Parmesan shrimp has a great balance of flavors. Not only to mention the short rib entree is so yummy. Thank Red Door

The friend green tomatoes were fabulous! Also love the spring rolls. They will blacken the chicken on your Cesar salad which makes it perfect. Great service, highly recommend.

Really enjoyed my dinner here. Came on a Tuesday evening right after work so there very few people since I beat the dinner rush. It was a nice quite dinner with fabulous food. I had the hush puppies, bourbon salmon and blackberry bread pudding. All of it was soooo good!

Great service and even better atmosphere but the food was barely mid. Catfish tasted so fishy. Great drinks though. The artichoke cheese dip was greasy and bland.

his wasn’t my first visit, and once again, the food did not disappoint. Our group ordered a little bit of everything—redfish, pork chops, chicken with seafood sauce, and the chicken-fried steak—and we all happily joined the clean plate club. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying.

We highly recommend saving room for dessert, though! The banana foster crème brûlée and blackberry bread pudding were both outstanding. We were told they’re made in-house, and it shows. If you’re too full after dinner, do yourself a favor and take dessert to-go.

Our waitress, Brittany, was attentive and helpful. She offered great suggestions and thoughtful opinions on the menu, and we appreciated her service.

However, the experience at the bar left a bad impression. Angel, the bartender, was unfortunately unprofessional. Everyone in our party ordered cocktails from the appealing drink menu. Both of our husbands ordered Old Fashioneds—one made with rye and one traditional. When a second rye Old Fashioned was ordered, it arrived tasting completely different—and not in a good way. We let Brittany know, and she took it back to request a new one.

What happened next surprised us: Angel returned with the replacement drink, claimed he had made them all the same, and told our friend that he must be drunk if he thought otherwise. For the record, he absolutely was not. I’ve never experienced a bartender speaking to a guest that way, and it soured what was otherwise a wonderful evening.

Angel was the best of the best waiter. The food was literally second to none. We are from Ohio and randomly stopped here and were so glad we did. Five stars all day long and 5 stars for Angel. He made the experience so much fun!! Highly recommend!!!!
