The food was so delicious and fresh the first two times I ordered takeout that I just HAD to go a third time, and the third time around it was still good just not as perfect as the first time. The decorations in the restaurant are very bare bones and can use a little elevation but it's still a good chicken spot. The banana pudding is fire and the fried catfish is the best I've had in Tulsa so good job there.
Stopped in on a whim when we were checking out the Giants on Route 66. What a GREAT surprise! The chicken was HOT and crispy (as it should be), the roll was sweet and fresh, the fries were crispy, and the mac 'n cheese was tasty and super-cheesy. We'll DEFINITELY be heading back soon!
It’s this cute little joint on 11th Street in the old Route 66 district. You order from an old-school Shasta trailer, which is already a vibe, and then you get hit with some of the best fried chicken you’ll ever put in your mouth.
We got the regular fried chicken and the tenders — both original and spicy — and every single bite was amazing. Lightly breaded, super flavorful, not greasy at all. Basically, if chicken had a red carpet moment, this would be it.
