I have always loved the Red Lobster coconut shrimp but have not been there in a while due to the low ratings. I decided to go again when I heard they had revamped and were attempting to improve. Starting with the positive, the coconut shrimp was crispy yet tender on the inside. The brussel sprouts and garlic biscuits were good. The disappointments, the mashed potatoes were very dry and bland, absolutely no flavor, not a hint of salt or creaminess just a dried ball of potatoes. Red lobster dinners come with one side only. When you order a dinner at any restaurant it always comes with two sides. I spent $18 for an order of shrimp and mashed potatoes, this was a massive negative for me. The Red Lobster chain needs leadership that knows how to run a restaurant. You do not get the value for your money. Definitely not returning.

Great service and the food was excellent, the cheese biscuits were so hot and the salads were crisp and fresh. I had the Walt's shrimp and it was delicious with all the sides.
