The employees were very rude, especially 2 of them. They acted like we were stupid and doing something wrong when we were just ordering ice cream. I was being upbeat and positive and trying to be as nice as I could and the response was just so weird. They were just rude. I don’t know if I have ever been treated that way by a server anywhere. We love the Gathering Place and the space there at the cafe is perfect for our large family getting together for a time there. I enjoyed my sweet treat and some of us got some coffee. But my daughter got a salad that was small, $11, and old and wilted and mushy. It had been made 3 days earlier and not refrigerated. That was a big problem!
Several of my family got ice cream and they said that it was really tasty. We will go back sometime because of the gathering place and the really great facility that the cafe is in. But sadly, the customer service there is not good.
It was a pretty decent experience, there was a mistake but it was fixed, the workers were very pretty and polite here and there.

We visited the Redbud Café on a hot day, looking for a place to cool off with a toddler in tow. While we did enjoy the ice cream and pre-packaged cookies, the overall experience was very disappointing.
The customer service was comparable to walking into someone’s home uninvited — completely unwelcoming, with staff who seemed uninterested and indifferent to guests being there. It was uncomfortable and made us feel like a burden rather than customers.
The other food on the menu looked good and was priced as you’d expect for a café in a popular location. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed everything else.
The Gathering Place itself is incredible and worth every visit, but the Redbud Café needs serious attention — whether that’s better training or new employees altogether. Hopefully improvements are made, because right now, I wouldn’t recommend stopping in.

Flies on the baked goods I was about to try a few of them but this fly saved me
$15
We went there on Saturday June 14th and had a small group of less than 15 people celebrating a 4-year-old's birthday. We had intended on using the outside seating area but the tables are not covered and it began to rain hard. We came inside and no one else was in the dining area. We occupied only three tables, but the manager came and very rudely told us we had to leave, so we went back out into the rain. There were two workers outside squeegeeing water off the tables while it was still raining. We left and would never go back and spend a dime there. If it were my Cafe, I would put the manager back on the espresso machine and elevate another employee who didn't have so much emotional baggage.

If you get a large brewed drink, you are simply paying for more milk/foam and nothing else. The large coffee drinks only have a single shot. Any other place adds another shot for every size you increase by, but they treat you like you're stupid here.
Love the coffee

a fine little cafe that give you what you need to enjoy the park!
solid & worth a visit!
thank you Jesus!
The employees here are extremely rude. Especially what I'm assuming is the manager. Had attitude the moment we got in line for ice cream and drinks and then even more attitude when we came back for the refills that I paid for. I can handle not so good food or if the drinks taste off or something but I cannot and shouldn't have to deal with bad attitudes for no reason. If you hate your Job that much then go find a different job that doesn't involve serving people.

Asked a worker if they had iced coffee she said she didn't know to ask the guys over there. They do sale iced coffee and it was made by the person that didn't know they had them.? and it was a waste of money. That was absolutely the worse iced coffee I have ever tasted. Do not recommend thier coffee.

The sandwich got was what I expected but the service was awful. the two girls working behind the counter today when we got our order around 1:25 or so were wilding inattentive and seemed bothered that my daughter and myself were there. As I was trying to check out they continued to talk to one another and i had to break their conversation so I could also let them know that my daughter also wanted some ice cream. The girl that went to get it threw the bag of cups or lids she was holding on the counter like I was interfering. We were not welcomed when we came in, they did not so much as say hello when we went to pay, and then continued to talk to one another as if our service was less important than their gossip. I will not be back to this spot during these hours and will likely turn back around if I do try it again and they are working. That was by far the worst services I’ve ever experienced. While they are teenagers, I’ll give some grace, but they are old enough to know that when someone is spending money in their establishment to take a moment and focus on the customer. I shouldn’t have had to apologize for interrupting a conversation that had nothing to do about work. Spending $10 for a premade sandwich and ice cream should require basic common courtesy with your customers.
