It was really surprising me when found out that there is an indonesian restaurant available in Tulsa where Indonesian people can be counted by finger.
The padang foods were amazing and their waitresses were good.
People who are looking for Rendang in Tulsa OK really recommended to come to this restaurant

This was our first time trying Indonesian food. And not a bad place to start. This place is inconspicuously located in a strip center off the corner of 51st street and Yale road. They were also nominated as a James Beard Award finalist, for those of you foodies that know what it is. The dining room is nice and inviting. The husband and wife team that own it are very nice. The husband runs the dining room and the wife does all the cooking as the chef. The husband has great hospitality and willing to explain anything on the menu. We got our feet wet by ordering ginger lemonades (they also come in hot) and they were wonderful. We also ordered martabak Telur for an appetizer, which is a beef filled pancake filled with egg and green onions then deep fried. This was very good and left me wanting more. For the main dish we ordered the popular Bakmi Ayam Bakso which is egg noodles with chicken, mushrooms and a homemade crispy wonton. This meal also came with meatballs in beef broth soup. The soup was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. This is the kind of soup you want on a cold winter day. The main dish was flavorful and very tasty, but not so exotic to discourage you from coming here. It provided a nice entry dish into Indonesian cooking scene and one of the most popular dishes there. To round out the evening we tried the Banana Bollen with jackfruit ice cream. This is a homemade pastry with banana, chocolate, cheese, cherry and mint then topped with your choice of one of the homemade ice creams. We chose the jack fruit ice-cream and were not disappointed. This dessert hit the spot and left us wanting more. We will definitely be back as this is one of the best places we have been all year!

Because of work Ive had the honor to travel to places including around the world and get to enjoy the local food.

I am visiting Tulsa and have found some good spots, but none like this gem.

Try it.. And enjoy what these guys are producing out of the kitchen. It is good.

If you’re looking for something new but you’re hesitant- go to this place and try the beef Kalio Rendang. It’s got a warmth to it but you won’t burn (I can be very sensitive to spice these days) I’ve tried other dishes too and have not been disappointed . The ambience is bright , the service is friendly and they are very patient if you have questions 😆 ( I often have questions)

If I could rate it higher, I would. As someone who has lived in Indonesia, this is incredibly authentic and delicious food. I even drove 2 hours to try it and I was not disappointed. It was an amazing taste of home and the service was stellar also. 1000 stars out of 10

This was a delicious meal. I walked in wanting to try a new place. I walked out wishing I’d been making regular outings to Rendang and Co.

I immensely enjoyed the D01 combination dish. I dug in so fast I didn’t take a pic of the food. Guess I’ll need to go back again to get that pic

Spoke with the owner, Indri, for a bit and she was delightful. Service was prompt, attentive and kind

It was an impressive new experience in food.
We had the Nasi Padang with Fried Chicken and the Soto Ayam. If you have never had Indonesian food before, I recommend that you start with these two delicious dishes. The Beef Rendang served on the combination plate (Nasi Padang with Fried Chicken) is an absolute must try food. I won’t even try to describe the complex flavors of the beef. The spice combination and the cooking technique deliver a beef that is like nothing you have probably ever experienced. It is delicious as was the Soto Ayam.
If you are unfamiliar with Indonesian food, check out the Rendang and Co. Indonesian Bistro website before you go. It has good descriptions and pictures of the food.
