I believe the location at 10th and Sheridan is closed with nothing explaining why
The whole concept changed since it moved. Had a shrimp Po boy and only had 4 shrimp on it. Lots of mayo. Don't think I'm going back to this garbage. Used to not be this bad.

Ordered # 22 definitely didn’t come with that. The 2 pieces of shrimp we did get was fried rock hard. I ordered the 2/fish,2/shrimp and 2/chicken also. Both the chicken and fish was fried hard , as well as the shrimp. Hush puppies and fried okra was saturated in oil. Not my 1st time going but it will DEFINITELY be my last. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

I got a 4 piece chicken dinner with 4 pieces of chicken and red beans and rice and coleslaw. The chicken was big pieces that was moist and tender. The red beans and rice have a great favor. The coleslaw was crunchy, was not too runny and not too sweet. We eat here regularly and are always pleased with the service and the food.
This place is SO good, we realized when leaving that we stayed way past closing time. They did not rush us and we’re very hospitable. Will be back and will bring others with me next time! Amazing service, delicious food!
I normally will not "not recommend" a place. I will not do this here, but I certainly cannot recommend it...at least, not based on my first experience there.I had the 6-piece shrimp with okra and fries. The food came out hot, but too hot to eat right away, which is not necessarily a bad thing. However, the shrimp was overcooked, as it was a tough ball of meat. The people were nice enough, even if I was charged for extra Tatar sauce that I never asked for. (It was taken care of quickly.)Overall, I don't know that I can go back. (The shrimp is messing with me today.)

Really wanted to like this place but not really sure how a catfish and seafood restaurant runs out of tartar sauce. I called in a carryout order and was told that they had "run out of tartar sauce" but would put some together before I picked up my order. When I picked up my order there was none in my bag. I requested it from the two women working the front of house but they again told me that they'd run out. Being that tartar sauce is not difficult to make and I was told it would be made and included with my order (not to mention I'm the customer and I enjoy my catfish with tartar sauce), I reminded them what I was told when I placed my order. They became borderline combative at this point and told me "we don't have the stuff to make it." I asked if they had mayo, pickles/relish, and lemon which they confirmed - to which I replied, "that's basically tartar sauce and good enough for me!" At this point the woman at the register, visibly irritated, told me again that they are out of tartar sauce and I could take my order and be on my way. I probably should have just left it alone but I couldn't help but calmly point out the fact that if you have the ingredients for tartar sauce you are not OUT of tartar sauce, you simply do not want to put forth the minimal effort required to make it. They both began shouting at me and continued shouting at me until I was out the door. I've not encountered such a surly duo before in any facet of the service industry and certainly have never been shouted out of a restaurant for what would be tantamount to expecting ketchup with fries.Needless to say, in spite of the fact that the food was actually quite good, I will not be back. The quality of service is as important as the quality of food and, on this point, Sam's struck out in spectacular fashion.
