I was really looking forward to trying this caterer and am genuinely disappointed we didn’t get the chance.
I initially called to inquire about availability and menu options and said I would call back to place the order. When I did a few days later, I confirmed the date, time, price, drop-off location, payment method, discussed deposits, and provided my personal phone number for any questions. At no point was I told that any additional confirmation would be required.
On the day of the event, I hadn’t heard from anyone but trusted that everything was set. About 10 minutes before the event, I called and was told we were not scheduled and that they hadn’t received our “confirmation.” That second call was my confirmation, and there was no follow-up afterward.
Communication by phone was pleasant, and their reviews and food photos look amazing, which makes this situation even more disappointing. I’m sure this was unintentional, but the lack of clear communication and follow-through left us without catering just minutes before our holiday party.
Our company has hired Jennifer several times and she never fails us! Food is always delicious and service is top notch!!! Our team loves her BBQ menu and her holiday items (fried turkey, ham and sides)…can’t wait until the next time we need her to cater for us!
