I love their food, but someone told me they closed their doors... Is this true?
This place is great
Unfortunately they are closed but this was by far the best place to eat if you wanted Mexican. Great staff and the food was always amazing. Best coke ever too. Idk what they did to make it so good. Senor Tequila will be missed.
I am am so sad. After 25 years, Senor Tequila officially closed on Sunday, April 27, 2025. I loved their food. They were the only Mexican restaurant that I've been to that didn't put cilantro in their salsa... which was a good thing! (I'm one of those people that fresh cilantro tastes like soap to me.) Their queso was also always on point! Fresh, warm chips every time. Every meal I had there was always good and everyone that worked there was always so nice.
I really wish I could have their salsa and queso recipes.
Senor Tequila, you will be missed.
Lunch service was fast and friendly. The fajita taco salad was delicious. Wait staff was present but not pushy or intrusive, kept drinks and salsa full. Will definitely be back again
Food was excellent! Servers struggled a bit figuring out that my wife just wanted beef and cheese nachos, but finally got it. The manager is amazing and always greets you like family. The queso with chorizo is amazing!!!
Great mexican food at a decent price. Staff is always nice and efficient. Pleasant and quiet atmosphere and modern design and restrooms were nice and clean.
Totally awesome
My review of senor tequilla: i went in, wasnt very busy. Got satted immediately, and they seemed to kinda rush me, so i picked the Jarritos, but they only had one flavor, the fruit punch. I then ordered my food, the senor tequila fajita, which was a mix of chicken, peppers, shrimp, and beef, with corn tortillas and guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. They brought me out salsa and tortilla chips immediately, both the salsa and the tortilla chips tasted store bought. They then brought me my entree and it looked good at first, and i paired all my toppings into a tortilla and it tasted really good. I then tried the meat individually and the chicken and beef were very dry, but the shrimp was good. The sour cream and the guacamole tasted store bought too. I then ordered dessert, which was a caramel flan, which again, tasted store bought, and they charged $7 for it which was insane to me. Looking into the decorations made me realize it was a very Amercanized version of a traditional mexican restraunt, and wasnt all too authentic. I also tried to order a aqua frescas (no thats not a misspelling thats what it said on the menu) and theyre menus were old too, so they were discontinued. I will say it wasnt horrible but it wasnt great, so im going to give it 3 stars.
This restaurant is truly a gem, a place I've cherished for over twenty years. Being family-owned, it exudes warmth and a sense of belonging, making every visit feel like coming home. The staff, especially Carlitos, are incredibly welcoming and dedicated, always ensuring that each meal is a delightful experience. May God continues to bless this wonderful establishment and the amazing people who make it so special!

Love this place. Fantastic food, fantastic service!
My mother and I used to love this place but definitely not now. For the appetizer we ordered queso and it was clumpy and cold. We both ordered Carne Asada and not only was the steak burnt it was dry and tough plus grease just sitting on top of the steak. Never had refills on drinks and never checked on us one time. We asked for a manager and our so called waitress said she was. We asked to speak to her boss and she refused. For almost 70.00 you'd think food would be good and service too. When my mom was given her change back it was just roughly handed to her, not even counted back to her. Definitely will be contacting the owner.
Great food, music, service. Amazing queso and food. Didn't call on the waiter once always refilling and restocking our chips. Good wait times and delicious food 😋
