Love the Chia latte - it's in my weekly drink rotation for sure! The atmosphere is very cool, and the staff are always friendly even though it's always busy!!

First time to the area and we were excited to check out a local coffee shop. As we walked in the two of us were greeted with dirty looks from customers and batistas alike. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk being lactose intolerant. When my drink was called out I double checked with the barista who confirmed it was made with oat milk. The drink was pretty ok, with good espresso. Unfortunately the drink was made with regular milk and I ended up very sick the remainder of the day. Would not recommend, will not return.

I have been to this place a lot, last experience was really lacking, the newer barista apparently forgot to call my drink out, it sat on the bar melting for 20+ minutes, way too much ice watered down the drink that was somehow still lukewarm even having half melted ice in it. I used to love their matcha but I poured 1/2 the drink out, their pricing has also gone up but they’ve failed to update the menu, $6.25 was really expensive for a small drink. I sat in the back and one of the baristas kept brushing past me, ended up slamming the back of my head with a box and just says “oops” I won’t be back again, if you’re looking for a quality coffee shop, nordaggios near ORU offers house roasted coffee and the baristas are amazing!

I was very impressed with my drink! This coffee shop gives off such good vibes...A very cozy and chill place. They have jewelry, used books and shirts for sale. They serve their coffee and hot drinks in their very own handmade pottery mugs. I thought that was really unique. They also sell those mugs separately too. I ordered an ice blended mocha with some drizzle. So good!! Perfection in a cup. After we sat down and enjoyed our drinks, we had a fun time walking and visiting all the shops on the same street. After that drove about 2 blocks and paid a visit to Trader Joe's ( love how it's right down the street ). Very nice day out! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Shades of Brown! Make sure to get a punch card, so you can earn yourself a free drink.

This place has a fantastically developed atmosphere. The wall colors blends very well with the art they have displayed. The furniture is comfortable and usually very clean. The coffee is absolutely fantastic as well. The only complaint I have is that there isn't very much seating. It is a literally smaller establishment, so there's just limited space to put seats. As such, there are usually only a few places to sit, if one visits with anyone else. Other than that, it is a fantastic place for coffee.

Good coffee and has good pastries/ cookies as well. Service good. Only issue is parking - it's rough to park a rough there.

They do a good dirty chai, but I find the layout of the place to be really weird--uncomfortable seating, lack of tables and outlets, etc. Just not comfortable. Probably not a place to work, but maybe an okay place to do some reading.

Love Shades of Brown, my favorite local coffee shop in Tulsa, and the coolest spot in Brookside. My wife always gets their Chumpkins, and the regular brewed coffees and Mocha are excellent too. One of my favorite “third places” around

Cool place, I have been meaning to check it out for a while. I visited on a Wednesday at around 1pm. Upon arrival I tried to park in the back as the street parking was full. There was no place to park in the back where I wouldn't've gotten towed. A construction truck was parked in the traffic lane to get into the lot. I had to circle around the block several times before finding parking in a neighboring business' lot. There was no seating available inside the shop. They were out of everything I tried to order. I ended up with a 3.00$ medium cup of orange juice and had to wait outside in the cold for indoor seating to become available. Very small place, Very small menu selection. I will not be returning.

Definitely one of my favorite spots in Tulsa to sit and drink a nice cup of coffee with friends. Love the local art on the walls and the pottery for sale (I own some). I recommend this place next time you want a date night or just want to hang out and study
