Place was clean, service was ok. Food was definitely overcooked. I got tilapia and shrimp. It was all chewy and just way overdone. No malt vinegar, or sweet n sour sauce either. No need to go back.

We came here for an early lunch and there was only 1 car in the lot but to our surprise the food was phenomenal! There was an older gentleman waiting who recommended the burger because they're fresh patties not frozen and the cake because it's homemade. He did not disappoint as both were accurate. I also got the pick 2 catfish nuggets and chicken with redbeans & rice and fries. The redbeans and rice were authentic and tasted great. The catfish nuggets and chicken were both hand battered and cooked to perfection. The special sauce is bomb, highly recommend it. The hush puppies were cooked well but lacked seasoning. Portion sizes were great, would definitely recommend and plan to come back. Only bad thing is the coworker was missing a piece from his pick 3 meal, so they had to correct that so double check food if getting takeout. Oh and the ambiance was nice they had jazz music playing in the background.
The Best food ever! I’m there like every other week. Food so good, I can’t stop coming back. From fish to shrimp and the nachos and all. 5 star, food tastes so bomb like Chicago’s shark, if you ever been to Chicago to sharks then this is the closest to their food. IFYKWIM.
