If you don’t have a large group you don’t get comfortable seating options such as a booth. They won’t allow smaller groups to use a booth. You have to sit in hard plastic chairs. Just not a very cozy or comfortable atmosphere for gaming. Server was very nice though and I do like the games and concept. If the seating were to be improved or more comfortable options for smaller groups I’d definitely go back.

We had an office outing that began right at 5 on a Friday. We were met with a very friendly staff that frequented our table to ask if we needed any direction regarding games or how to play what we were playing. The selection is huge, the atmosphere is very friendly and their food and drink menu is amazing. We had the smoked pimento dip, a pizza and chicken tenders with sweet potato fries. Large portions and delicious!
I personally had the Ent Water and I was blown away with how great it was!
Highly recommend for an office party, date night or any occasion. Also family friendly!!!

I ate there with my sister yesterday 3/15/25 and the food was SO good and the games and atmosphere was awesome. I had the grilled chicken ceaser wrap and we had the fried pickles and pot stickers. It's a tad pricey when it's all said and done and you may have to wait 10-15 minutes to order good but it was fun and definitely recommended. Check it out.

Trivia night was so much fun. Definitely coming back.

Rude employees. We arrived early for trivia and had to wait at the bar which was fine. After being served our drinks, I went to claim our seat with the host once I got the text our table was ready. The host realized a table wasn't ready, so I returned to my seat and drink. There was then an "unavailable" sign which I moved since I had been sitting there first and my drink and purse were still there. Then a worker rudely told me I couldn't sit there and left before I could tell her my side of the story. The situation escalated when the bartender and the worker both argued with me with rude tones, saying the sign had been up since opening--even though they had served me at the bar. I would have initially sat on the other side of my friends if a sign was there in the first place. It was so packed, they were essentially kicking me out. I had no other seat to sit in. We left before trivia even started. Won't be coming back.

Best fried pickles we’ve ever had. It’s a great way to kill a couple of hours, we will definitely be back.

I realize a one star review may seem petty or unrealistic, but if I am to be completely honest concerning my experience at this establishment, a "no star" review would be more accurate.

I did not order food as the menu felt a little too pricey. This was just the beginning of a less than mediocre experience. The green tea I ordered was hot, but the young man waiting on us needed to be reminded twice to get sugar to me, and when he did, the surgar jar had maybe two teaspoons left in it. Finally after three requests he brought a teaspoon to stir it. After another two requests he brought another almost empty sugar jar.

So we got our games and got ready to play (we had a party of seven people) when our less than enthusiastic waiter informed us, "only one game at a time at each table". Even though each individual playing is charged $7 a piece to play. Not to mention the establishment has more than enough games to allow larger groups to play multiple games. When I asked if my son and I could sit at another table and play chess while the other five in our group played their game our waiter informed me that the other tables were for other customers. At this point I decided I wasn't going to play anything. They weren't getting my $7.

Several times throughout our time in boujee town our young waiter would weirdly stand by our table and just look at us.

When it was all said and done we payed 40 bucks for three players and some non-alcoholic drinks. And our weird little waiter still wanted a tip.

Maybe your experience will be better but this was not a family fun place. It was notba fun place. For all the $ it costs there shouldn't be so many stupid rules. It wouldn't hurt you to allow few games at a table for a large group. Rip off. Never again. Zero stars.

Shuffles, I don’t know where to begin. It’s a restaurant where I’ve had the best experiences and the staff is like family.

Coming here is always a blast! Food is good and the beer is priced well! Can be pricey if you are getting specialty drinks or foods though

We did a girls night last night on a Wednesday because they said that was the least busy night. They were not that busy so that was good but we were CRAMMED into a booth and they would not let us move to a larger table. The table for 10 sat empty the entire time we were there and when we were leaving there were only 2 people sitting at that table. We were very sternly told that NO LESS than a party of 10 could use that table! We had 6 ladies, a baby, birthday presents, a cake, we all ordered food and we were expected to also play a board game on that table! The food was very good but the service was slow, grumpy and NOT accommodating!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and were seated right away. Just ordered a little snack of garlic knots and frites. I think we all agreed that the garlic knots were the move. Just a fun place all around with great service!

Would have probably loved it, but after waiting 40 mins for a table. We were ignored by the servers for another 15 mins once we got the table, so we left. I might try again when they're not busy, but the only person that gave any attention to us was the bartender. You need new servers, I work at a busy restaurant myself so I know how it is, however this is no excuse... The least the could have done was acknowledge us.

Went to Shuffles for the first time to learn Wingspan board game and have dinner. Great customer service, huge selection of games in house and good food and drink. Game Navigators Lance, Brandon, Kaitlin and bar tender Brandon were excellent helpers guiding us through the game. Learned a lot and will have to return.

I've never been to a board game café before, and I wasn't sure what to expect - what a comfortable and stimulating experience. I find new and unusual places a little overwhelming, but the friendly staff here made it easy for me, and I had a great time! Highly recommended if you're looking for something new.
