The papusas were pretty good. If I were to go back, that is what I would order. We tried the two house specials as recommended by our waitress. The chicken was okay, but the seafood soup was terrible. Much of the seafood had overcooked in the broth and worse, the broth tasted like pure melted butter. There are far too many good dining choices to waste time here.

First impression. Place was empty at dinner time. Then I asked for a diet coke. I was told they only had sprite and mountain dew. The chips were stale and gross. The chicken was overcooked (better than undercooked). The people were nice though.

Honduran food. Ever tried it? If not, you should. This ain’t Mexican food. Not even close. It’s plantains, cabbage, beans, corn, yucca, tasty pickled purple onions, and on every meal, that I have tried so far, mayonnaise, lots and lots of mayonnaise. Garlic is a prominent seasoning. Fried everything. The food is rich, flavorful not dominated with chili powder and comino like Mexican food. An adventure for your palate.Chips and salsa come with the meal. Good salsa, and ask for the hot stuff. No English is spoken here. Ask for salsa picante.I had what I always gravitate to, Pollo Frito w/Pechuga. The large chicken white meat quarter, well-seasoned with garlic, deep fried extra crispy, on a plate full of tajadas (fried plantains), covered in a haystack of shredded cabbage and all generously covered with a spicy mayo blended sauce. The chicken was perfect, the fried plantains were exceptional. Just the way I love them, thin and crispy. My wife had a new menu item (according to the menu). The fried shrimp. It came with the perfect tajadas, seasoned rice and bean mix, a small salad, big fried shrimp and a mayo based dipping sauce. She was very pleased with the meal, especially the big golden fried shrimp. The restaurant is nothing fancy. No English spoken, but the menu is in English. It was a bit of a struggle to communicate our request for a couple of diet Cokes. It all worked out though. The food was delicious.I know very little about Honduran food. My goal here was to make you think I do. Did it work?Try Honduran.

Me and my bride frequent here. It’s a family owned business that puts a lot of care into their food and it shows in how amazing it always tastes. Our go-to are papusas (cheesy, doughy, crispy round morsels of goodness) and the baleada prepped (giant breakfast taco/burrito). Of course anything you choose off their menu will be delicious. If you’re feeling adventurous but not wanting to stray away from familiarity. Get their fried chicken plate. It’s mega loaded with crispy plantains, sauce, cabbage, and the crispiest most well season fried chicken you’ll have. Dine in if you can so it stays crispy rather than to-go and it get soggy. Recently we tried their seafood soup “sopa marinera”. And let me tell you. It. Was. Amazing. Does not have overtly fishy pungent smell but has all the seafood life in it. Crab, shrimp, mussels, calamari. In a piping hot coconut milk broth that smells divine. Can’t oversell this place enough. Always happy to go here.

The guy who waited on us was so friendly. Does not speak English though. It’s a good thing I can speak some Spanish or we would have been in trouble! The tortillas and chips are delicious, the burrito was very good. I liked their salsa too. The frijoles came with sprinkled Parmesan cheese. It was good. I recommend it.

Update, several members of our party reported not feeling well after eating here. Stay away! Called to let the owner know response was simply that he didn't know where the"crazy" kitchen staff gets their ingredients.Service was good, food....several pieces tasted old/stale....dining room was not clean nor were the restrooms.

Hard to find a great central American food place. Well here is one. Fried chicken your grandma's would be proud of served in a way she would never imagine. I had the small chicken bananas ( pictured below) best $8 you will ever spend. Will be back when I'm hungrier.
