Very bad service! The owner & her young daughters hate being there & hate attending people. Not to mention they are thiefs! Will overcharge your card, so make sure you ask for a receipt every single time! They overcharged me $50+ for a drink that cost no more than $7, it's ridiculous! Overall you can find better snacks & service anywhere else without having to worry if they overcharged your card

Coco Loco is incredible, not just because of the location or the hotel itself, but the team is the absolute best. I was lucky enough to run a retreat there in January 2023 and was so please with the quality of the service provided. From planning the retreat and then leading it throughout the week, I always felt supported by the Coco Loco team and staff. They truly care about you having the best experience, they are super involved, and you can tell they love what they do. The remoteness of this Eco Resort is a great part of it's charm! The surf is great; for beginners and pros. The Yoga deck overlooks the ocean and the whole vibe of the resort is one of calmness, natural beauty & relaxation. The activities available are numerous and fun! The meals we enjoyed every day were delicious & all of them made from fresh, local ingredients. I shared a Cabana with another retreat participant; it's nothing luxurious but it's comfortable. Nice veranda with a hammock for relaxation. Each bed had a net for mosquitoes & the open air shower was always a refreshing start/end to a busy day! The highlight for me was the beach; quiet, good waves for a beginner surfer like me and the most amazing sunsets. Every. Day! We had so much fun with all activities provided, the staff is tops in making suggestions, planning & just generally very friendly! I really want to return to this little corner of paradise. To Ben, Eze, Oscar, Ara & the rest of the Coco Loco Eco Resort "Hasta pronto" guys!! See you soon.
