I wish I could give the atmosphere 10 stars. We love overlooking the Arkansas River from this rooftop, outdoor dining spot. The food is always delicious and the service impeccable. We tend to visit late morning during the week for brunch, and are always surprised that there aren’t more costumers. This place is a gem.

Had lunch at Soma yesterday with some neighbors. It was great! We had the Local Chick, the Shoemaker and the Grilled cheese and soup of the day was Cajun Potato. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back and try the Tempura Lion’s Mane and the Mezza at Happy Hour.
The atmosphere of a place is arguably the most important consideration for me when going out. The rooftop patio was exactly the kind of place I've been looking for. I went at night and didn't know the area well, so I can't say all THAT much about the view other than the twinkly lights of the city were nice, but as a high place with just the right lighting and a great menu, it was perfect.

We loved the rooftop, the view, and the ambiance. We went for a special dinner, and because we love mushrooms, a three-course, two-person forager's meal was offered. The experience included a jazz band, but it was not too loud. In addition to the prefix menu, we ordered two other mushroom dishes: the dumplings and the lion's mane tempura. Both were amazing. We asked that they come out separately, but they did not. We started with cocktails and wanted to savor each dish. The biggest issue with the service was the timing. Which is a kitchen issue. When the first course of the mushroom dinner came after our appetizers, it was supposed to have the wine pairing of the brut rosé. The rose did not come until afterward. There was also an issue with what was in the dish. One person is a vegetarian, and the other person does not eat shellfish. So when the waiter said it was mushrooms and oysters, he was incorrect,t it was in fact a duck and oyster mushroom spread on toast, which we knew because we ordered other apps, because only one person could eat it. Anyway, we had to get the waiter to check. Then there was no wine with the pasta dish, which was very bland and did not take advantage of mushrooms. The use of the mushrooms in the desert was lovely. However,r in most of the dishes, the mushrooms were creatively used. However, it would have been nice to have the mushrooms shine more without being masked in one course. As a casual rooftop bar, it is fantastic.. The ambition of the pairings is commended.if you do not have the wine that matches the food or if you wait and the food is cold, then you miss the intended experience. Again, we loved it except for one bland dish and the timing.

On a nice day the outdoor dining terrace here is stunning. We had great service and the food was excellent. Excellent. Try the Ahi tuna tacos, and the ribs. You won't regret it.

Food and service were incredible. Loved the ricotta with vegetables. The large parties were too loud but they tried by moving us once. Patio was quieter than indoor area.
