Due to problems with Sonic in the past, I have not eaten there in years, so finally decided to stop and get just a hamburger and onion rings to see if anything's gotten better. I ordered a hamburger MINUS cheese and pickles and apparently that was too much to ask for, and the onion rings are obviously not fresh made at the facility anymore, you never used to get a bag full of teeny tiny little onion rings. NEVER TO RETURN!!!!!

Grabbed a quick lunch with two cheeseburgers, cherry limeade, and Diet Dr. Pepper. Our carhop was very nice, our meal was hot and my limeade actually had lime slices and actual cherries. Overall a nice experience.

Fortunately, before I spent any money here, their Sonic sized shitty attitude earned them a Route 44 Nope from me.
A much better decision is the Sonic one mile south near the fire station.

Just before the end of happy hour I came in to order a drink and some onion rings. The drink order was heard just fine, but when trying to order onion rings the woman taking the order said she couldn't hear me.

Since the truck next to me had a loud engine, I thought maybe I just wasn't quite loud enough, so I said "large onion rings" loudly in order to be heard.

Apparently this was a trigger for her, because she came back with a massive attitude saying that I don't need to "yell" at her. I simply said that I was just trying to make sure she could hear me since she said that she couldn't hear me. This then set her off even more and she came out to my car to tell me off for "yelling" at her (while she was actually yelling at me with a seriously bad attitude).

I simply decided to leave instead of attempting to engage at all since she clearly wasn't interested in having a rational discussion. As I was backing up she kept turning around to yell at me even more as she headed back inside, while one of the car hops was motioning to get her to hurry back inside and stop making a fool of herself.

If one of my employees did this they would be fired immediately, no second chances. There is no possible way that any employee can attempt to justify that behavior.

I ended up going to a different Sonic (after happy hour ended) to get the drink.

If the manager reads this, she was a middle aged white woman of average height (as best I could tell while in my car) and a little over weight. I didn't get her name, so a description is the best I can offer. This happened on Monday June 24, 2024 just before 4pm.

Got our burger and pretzel, came with no cheese sauce like it's supposed to and has come before, got no sauce and had gotten a very nasty attitude at the end of out interaction with an employee we were the second car in the entire parking lot.
