We’ve been here a few times and it’s becoming our new favorite dinner spot! Love the food and the live music on the weekends. The staff is friendly and makes it feel very relaxed. Definitely will be back and we are telling all our friends to try it out!

The service was great, our requests were quickly completed, with politeness and a smile. The food was fantastic, the best fried catfish I’ve had in Tulsa. The gumbo was rich and hearty. All our dishes were excellently flavored, the pork rinds so fresh they were still crackling when brought to the table. The food had just enough spice; with Crystal sauce at the ready if you need to add a little more. We will be going back to try the rest of their menu.

Being from Louisiana I hoped against hope that this would be a decent Cajun/creole restaurant. It wasn't. The food wasn't even close to Cajun/Creole. Gumbo was pot roast with brown gravy. No sweet tea. There was a 15 minute wait to get a waiter to show up at the table. About the only thing remotely Cajun about this place was the Crystal Hot Sauce and the pic below.

Returned w/ friends around 7:00, 7:30 on a Friday night. Fairly packed. We were informed there was nothing available inside. We said we didn't care and were the first patrons on the patio. Way down hill from there. They seemed to be out of everything we ordered. I believe one companion ordered a simple house Chardonnay (what he always orders) and was told they were out! Then the patio began to fill. Then the music began, so every time the door was opened it blasted on the patio. (As we left I saw one guy orchestrating the music from the corner nearest the patio door) Okay, *really* crowded and loud. I can live w/ that. But hubby and I agreed, what they weren't "out of" wasn't that great. I had the blackened catfish. Myeh. We had to ask for tartar sauce, then wished we hadn't. We agreed it was mayo in a cup. I don't know what to say. I guess they're happy now and making money selling beer. Sorry I didn't take pictures.

Wow! Love this place! I had the Crawfish Diane(Pretty sure that's wrong but...) and it was phenomenal! Rich and Creamy with plenty of Crawfish to please anyone.

Since I cant reply to the owners reply to my original review, I will reply with a new post. Service was not our biggest issue. We know that sometimes one has a not so good day. That would not keep us away. But we were very disappointed with the portion sizes. IE..we had the Gator bites as an appetizer, the menu shows good size pieces, what we got was very small chunks about the size of crawfish on a bed of fries, and there were very few of those. For a table of 4 we only got 2 or 3 bites a piece. My wife ordered the Cajun steak bites. Once again the portions were very small there were 10 pieces of steak about the same size as the gator bites. Our bill was over $50 just for me and my wife and we left hungry. The high cost/ small portion size is what will keep us away. But I will say again, the food was good, just very little of it.

I've been twice now in 2 weeks, it's gonna be a regular for me. Taco Tuesday blew me away but their gumbo I had today was even better. It will melt your face off if you're not ready for the spice!

The red beans and rice were great. My husband had fried cat fish...excellent! This is a family run business and they DO know how to run a business! Very friendly and attentive service. We will be back!

Excellent variety, great Service, the food is delicious! Shrimp and grits, gumbo, red beans and rice, blackened chicken salad, all wonderful. The fried mushrooms were other worldly good. The batter was light but crispy. The mushrooms melted in your mouth, Soo good! It took a little bit for the food to come but it was worth it. The place is small, I can't imagine how they do Saturday nights but of you can get there, GO.
