I'm writing this review as a guy who lives in Michigan but comes down to visit friends once or twice a year and I hit this place up at least three or four times every trip. I'll be honest by saying I really only get the burrito that comes smothered in queso with chips but that's not to say the rest of the food isn't amazing, but this burrito is just too good not to order. Plus the horchata is also great and I make sure to get one at least once per trip. Also...
Tried Taco Don's new spot - just across the street from original location on 11th. The gordita, now with shredded chicken and no avocado, didn't meet my expectations. The tacos were fantastic - but I wouldn't recommend the chorizo though - was surprisingly flavorless. All in all I'm still a big fan and will be back.
Order the Don, steak, with everything. So dang good. I will definitely be back and I'll bring my hubby next time. Rice was a little dry but still 5 stars. Tacos were the main attraction. Sooooo good!
