The food was made fresh to order, the service was great. I used my limited knowledge of Spanish to communicate out of respect for the workers culture and their establishment. They were short, curt, and friendly. The atmosphere is only due to the fact they have a leaking ceiling and some broken down areas where customers would try to eat.
I wasn't expecting too much when I entered, but this place really surprised me with their quality food. I had to wait in a long line to order, but it moved decently fast. They had a giant menu board that was easy to order from. I ordered a chimichanga and some chips and salsa. My food was super fresh and hot. I highly recommend the chimichanga. It was actually made proper and had a nice crispness.
I ordered the green wet burrito with Al Pastor carne and it is delicious, packed with meat. The retried beans are smooth & creamy, fluffy rice and the homemade pickled carrots & peppers go perfectly. I will be coming back, for sure.
