Great food truck. Nice group. Clean tables. I had the 5 tacos and a drink for $8. 2 steak and 3 chicken. They are street taco style. There is not enough meat on them. compared to trucks in that area the competition is heavy. Tasted good though. I want to try burritos here so I'll add that

Tres Carnales Taqueria is a fantastic spot for authentic Mexican street food in Edmonton. The atmosphere is casual and lively, and the food is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying their tacos, which are made with homemade tortillas and a variety of flavorful fillings like al pastor, carne asada, and grilled fish. They also have a great selection of sides, like the guacamole and chips, which are always fresh and flavorful. Overall, I highly recommend Tres Carnales Taqueria for anyone looking for a fun and delicious dining experience!

Very good tacos. Friendly owners. They offer comfortable seating with ample lighting. They offer now a beeper for your order to pick up! Why hasn’t anybody else thought of this? All other food trucks have to yell at the top of their lungs in english and spanish. Heehehehe so I was glad to see this!

Stopped here for lunch. Delicious Mexican food. Food-ordered (forgot pictures sorry ?) two tacos. I tried to special order them but communication wasn't working. So I ordered the chicken tacos. Tasty, cilantro was a nice add, lime is amazing on it, and the habanero hot sauce was amazing. No toppings though, side of onions, diced Pico or something.Atmosphere was great for a food truck. A few tables to sit at, covered area, and parking within view so you don't have to wait outside in the coldService was good. Communication issues but we got there.

Honestly I'm a bit disgusted with this. We were invited to eat there many times as we are very close with the Mexican community and I am very disappointed on this. The fact that they couldn't even apologize for the infestation and blame it as racism and targeting isn't ok. The fact that they knew about this issues and never did anything is sad and disgusting. Yes they might reopen but I'll never step a foot in there and will never recommend this place to anyone.

The food was grossly overpriced ($20 for tiny tacos?) and the owners were drunkenly annoying customers.

They were forced closed due to health violations. Disappointed as I did go there about 3 months ago and enjoyed it. The violations are very concerning (pest infestations and build of of "filth" on equipment and unsafe utensil storage). More concerning to me has been the owners respone. He is blocking or deleting any negative comments, and claiming all of the violations were "outside" of their control. Seems to imply it is the building and not the restaurant. Not sure how it's out of his control to not have filth build up on his own equipment, improper utensil storage, or traps FULL of live, dead, and various stages of cockroaches. Also, the AHS reports go back to 2021. They have been issued warnings for over a year. And they take no responsibility. I won't go back ever again, based on their response I wouldn't trust them to honestly do anything.
