My coworkers and I stopped by The Brook Downtown in Tulsa for dinner and the young guy at the front was kind enough to get permission to seat our large party before closing.
The restaurant itself is on the 2nd floor and had a nice layout - perfect for large groups or gathering.
I heard they were known for their Chicken Fried Steak so a few of us ordered it. OMG the portions were huge - even the drinks! The chicken fried steak was a bit heavy so it was hard to finish. I got a side of Caesar salad and enjoyed it better. I thought the Deep Fried Mushrooms were the best item we had. It was delicious. This was shared between our party and I actually liked it more than the steak!
Overall, service was okay. Our server was friendly but forgot a few items - a couple drinks and an entree. I’d come back for the mushrooms. Delicious!

Had lunch with a friend. We both enjoyed the food a lot. This Brook has a sort of post modern industrial look. Where as the on Peoria has a vintage movie theater vibe. Only complaint about the one downtown is the entrance is not exactly obvious and the dining area is on the 2nd floor. I had walk up some steps to get to it. Not a big deal, just unexpected is all.

I went to a birthday dinner for a friend and we were in a group of about 10 and dined on the patio. The service was not great at all, our first server took our drink order and ended up throwing it away. Our second server was fine but did not have a great attitude towards us. Our food and drinks took a very long time to come out and was charged extra for my meal when it shouldn’t have been any extra. I’m a huge fan of the restaurant but this location will not see me again. Very disappointed

We had the Brook on Sunday, July 27th. We went around 530 pm. It was fairly busy but our waitress was right on top of things from as soon as we sat down until we left. Friendly abs there the whole time. She was even awesome enough to take a family picture for us afterward. Thank you Brook for the amazing experience!

Hard to believe that the fish in the fish and chips was amazing but it was
My husband and I had a couple of drinks and an appetizer. we paid the bill with a card and left a cash tip. they decided to give themselves a 20$ tip on the bill in the end, so watch out for that.

The food was disappointing but the service was good enough to get me to go back. I prefer outdoor seating and with a view I forgive many flaws.

Great local place with varied menu. Great service.
Customer service unmatched. Between my server Bradly and the bartender Brant I was well taken of. I ordered the chicken fried steak and boy was I impressed. The portion was huge and the flavor was on point. Came with a salad and choice of a side. I was so excited to eat I forgot to take a picture before I dug in.
Great staff, food, and great view.
I’ve really enjoyed the atmosphere of this bar and have brought several friends here over time because I believed in supporting a local spot. Unfortunately, my most recent visit left me feeling disappointed and embarrassed. Despite being a returning customer who regularly tips well and respects the space, I was ID’d in a way that felt unnecessary and performative—especially considering the staff member recognized me and I’ve never had an issue in the past.
I completely understand the need for ID checks, but the way it was handled felt cold and dismissive. I asked to speak to a manager and was made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued guest. It’s disheartening when a place you want to support doesn’t extend any warmth or appreciation in return.
Hoping the team reflects on how small moments of hospitality—or lack thereof—can really impact a guest’s experience.
