Was in town to visit family, a friend told me about the Colony. I went by myself to check out Paul Benjamin and band. Everyone at the bar was super nice and welcoming and the show was great! Next time I’m in Tulsa I’ll be back
Five stars for a venue where people actually listen to independent musicians! Walking into The Colony feels exactly like loading into a dive‑bar gig where the payment is two tacos, a handshake, and whatever beer the bartender “accidentally” forgets to charge you for. I used to love this place, but honestly the bartenders often ruin the vibe. Its been 5 year of frequenting this bar, but the bartender last night was the worst bartender I've ever had. I ask her if she has grapefruit juice, she snaps at me that she's allowed a 15 minutes smoke break. What that has to do with the grapefruit juice, ill never know.
