Date is Aug 13th 2024 - The fur shop posted on Facebook they would be updating and under new management. The family that built this bar asked questions to see what would happen to the bar we made and the owner deleted all the comments and restricted who could comment on the post. This bar will not be the same without our bar tenders working there. It won’t be the all inclusive bar we made that RAN DOWNTOWN TULSA for a while.

This was a great place, but the owner is terrible. His incompetence on how to run a bar and business ran off some of the best bartenders and people in Tulsa. When the manager left, he either thought he could run the place in his sleep or purposely ran it terribly to run off the staff. Not stocking liquor, fruit, cups, or getting change for the drawer is absolute incompetence or forcing a poor work environment on staff to make them leave when it’s that way for weeks. Then, as soon as the staff got fed up and walked out, two days later he suddenly has these big new plans for the place. Seems fishy. He’s either incompetent, a shady businessman, or both. Will never, ever support any business he’s involved in again, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else do so either.

The Fur Shop is a progressive friendly bar that has an awesome vibe. The bar is frequented by both gays and straights, and everyone gets along and has a fantastic time together. The bar is trendy, and I highly recommend it over the so-called gay bars of Tulsa.
