I love it here. Food is good. And the staff are welcoming & very professional.
We were disappointed that some of the food and drink items were not available. There were multiple mistakes on our food order but staff did try to make up for it with comping drinks and giving some free appetizers. Some of the food was delicious while others were not so it was hit and miss. There are large booths that are great for large parties but overall we were disappointed with the food, service and atmosphere.
Owned by good people ! đ€ Honestly I'm in love with the queso đ it's soooo good! definitely will be back to try the drinks next!

Never coming back. Hoped to eat but closed for âprivate eventsâ every weekend, maybe post that online so we donât waste our time.
This place is awesome! Food was fresh and DELICIOUS. Mary, our server, was so sweet and attentive. All the workers kept coming by to check on us. If youâre looking for a great spot for food and drinks definitely check this place out.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here and our experience was AMAZING! The staff was fast, attentive, and in good spirits! We ordered the two cocktails, the Carne Asada Fries, the Golden Enchiladas, and (my personal favorite) the Gold Steak, and let me tell you- PERFECTION!! Everything tasted so delicious! As its namesake it is the Gold Standard!
The owner and staff were absolutely wonderful and we would 100% recommend this place!

We have been here before and the service was fantastic this time service was not great, nobody great us we have to get our table and none came until the bartender was kind enough to come and bring us some water and the menus, he really was paying attention since the place didn't even have many tables. The place is nice as well the ambience but they also did not have the dishes we wanted so we have to change our choices, the food was ok thought, but last time everything was terrific food, service and ambience. Hope they take care of all this since it's a nice restaurant but in order to have costumers your service should be the most important as well having what the menu offers since does not have to many options.

10/10. Carne Asada fries are a must. The entire staff took care of us from beginning to end. Had a great time for a birthday event. Thanks so much!

My friends and I came to have dinner before a homecoming dance we were going to. Our experience at The Golden Standard Bar and Kitchen was subpar to say the least. To begin, as we were greeted there was very little formality and they took a long time to get to our table. Albeit, we were in two large groups--there was no one else in the restraunt. They did not bring us silverware or napkins until we asked. The servers did not seem invested in making the experience immersive; there was no urgency in how they served.
The carne asada fries were by far the best item on the menu that my friends and I tried, as well as the mashed potatoes with the steak and the mexican rice. However, the Golden Steak one of my friends ordered was overcooked and under seasoned. The same goes for the carne asada platter. My salmon came out raw in the center and regrettably I had to ask to have it recooked. This process took 30 mins just for them to get my salmon back out on to the table. When it came, I asked for it in a to-go box, and the presentation of the food was lacking (as it was when it came out the first time) The zucchini was soggy/translucent and the asparagus was, again, not seassoned. The manager was kind enought to comp the meal due to the inconvience, which I was very grateful for.
The Golden Standard Bar & Kitchen has great potential, however the execution of the restaurant is lacking in many ways. With improvements in service standards and food presentation/preperation, this restraunt could succeed in downtown Tulsa. Overall, would not recommend.

My husband and I had a great experience on our first visit to the restaurant. Our bartender, Austin, was really nice and patient. We ordered the carne asada fries as an appetizer, which was more than enough since we also had chips and salsa. My husband and I almost forgot about our entrees! I was very pleased with my drink; it was delicious and beautifully presented.
