The food was fun. I went with my wife and brother and sister in law and a nephew. The nephew is 4 and the chef did an amazing job of keeping a 4 year olds attention. Truly an inspiration. Thank

We have been here hundreds of times before. So obviously, we used to like the place. Two days ago we went and had the worst food that I have ever seen at any hibachi restaurant I’ve ever been in my life. The shrimp they served (I ordered extra) were the tiny little shrimp that are served on salads. Everything was way overcooked as well. I asked for a manager and she said she would take my meal off the ticket. She then proceeded to remove me and my husband’s plates (he was still eating). Yet, we were still charged for his plate that he didn’t even get to eat! I don’t think we will be back.

I loved it! The food was really good. Of the three hibachi Steak House's I have been to in Tulsa, I would say this is overall my favorite. I will have to try the newer one down on Memorial for comparison. The food - I had the (Teriyaki) Steak, not the regular steak or filet, added chicken with Fried rice and all the fixins'. The steak was a smidgen undercooked, but it was also the last thing to make it off the grill other than the chicken, so I can't fault the guy. The chicken was awesome.....so good. The veggies were great. The noodles were like a 4.5, only because I thought they were lacking something. I'm not sure what, though. Food is overall 5 star for sure!Service - It was good! The server girl was slammed, so I could not hold it against her. She kept up and my drink was full, that's all I can ask for.Atmosphere - I liked the decorations, the seating was a little too close to each other, but not horrible. My only problem with the place was it is in need of some repairs on the inside. Maybe some deep cleaning, but that's just my restaurant management life talking. What mattered was clean. The hood vents, grills, food carts etc were all nice and clean. The hood vents were shining! Juat some paint, ceiling tiles, etc that needs some love.100% recommend though! Best hibachi fried rice I have tried so far, the teriyaki steak was a nice change and the chicken was bomb. The only thing I liked better at the other guys was the ginger dressing. It was great here, but the other one has them in that regard.

I always love Tokyo Garden and our cook was great! But we just had a waiter that was very unwelcoming to us. & Not to sound extra but we always love the sherbet at the end, and he purposely didn’t give it to us, after we even asked about it. We spent $43 before tip for two chicken hibachi dinners which is still. a great price, just wanted my ice cream.

Very happy. Chef provided a great little show while cooking the food in front of us. Good quantity of food, you won't leave hungry if each person orders the full meal. Rainbow sherbert ice cream is included at the end of the hibachi dinner. The hibachi "show" tables hold up to 8 people and they generally want a bigger group for these tables. If you do the hibachi dinners for the show, realize that they only have so many cook tables so they need to get the groups through to keep the prices lower, so they will bring the bill and the to go boxes as soon as the cooking is completed. They do add the automatic 18% gratuity and then ask for a tip, but for the skills of the chefs they need to be paid well for retention. Prices are published on website, add for drinks, taxes, built in gratuity, and tip to understand the total cost. It is expensive like a steak house, $35-$55 per person. Be ready for some joking and kidding from the chef, don't take it personal. If you go with the right expectations you will be happy.

I'm not sure if we had a new cook, but he didn't do pretty much any of the tricks and fun things that you look forward to seeing when going to a hibachi dinner. Only one thing. He also didn't cook the meat appropriately to the temperature ordered and it was over-cooked. One guest had to re-order her steak. He seemed confused and lost. We were also celebrating a birthday. Another table had the staff sing and bring out dessert. We gave staff our cake and asked them to bring it out as a surprise at the end. This one guy just walked it out and handed it to the birthday girl and basically said, “Here.” No one sang, no surprise, no presentation. Overall the experience was very disappointing, especially when we had chosen there for a surprise birthday dinner for a friend.
