I've been out of Tulsa for the last ten years. I don't remember the last time I tried Ty's but it was at least 12 years ago, maybe 15 years ago. That long ago visit was bad. I wondered about how recent my last doctor visit was. I was shaken enough to worry if I was about to bring sickness back home. Being back in Green Country I heard about 3 years ago the ownership had changed and when I had the chance I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to see what was different....
The atmosphere here was great. Super calm and relaxed. It feels like someone’s country grandpa opened a burger place in the best way. The fact they had gluten free buns drew me in and I’m so glad it did. The burgers and tater tots were so good we started making plans to come again before we had left.
This place literally hasn't changed much in decades. Still good food cooked well and to order from a small menu for reasonable prices. What more could you want from a burger joint?
