So disappointed. their menu has decreased in size threefold, and what food they do have is limited to enchiladas or fajitas. our waiter was really understanding and good but you can't make up for the small portions the high prices and the limited selection. I don't anyone in my group today would be going back.
The chili Colorado was delicious! So tender and lean (no fat).
My waiter was very knowledgeable and personable. Will definitely go back here again.
First time here. We sat on the patio. It was a lovely night. Really good service, good food. The prices were decent, Taco Tuesday special was amazing. The inside, though smelled like very burnt food, maybe fajitas..? did not like.
This is the 3rd Uncle Julios we have been at and this one is the beat.
We did not have a great experience on our last visit. Food was sub-par, had to go to the bar to get a drink the server forgot. It was a terrible customer service experience and dining experience. The restaurant wasn’t busy but wasn’t dead either.
Might give them another chance but it definitely won’t be at the top of the list anytime soon.
It was alright for Tex Mex but this chef has had better in other states
Great food and service
The food was good. I think it was a little overpriced.
Food was great, got 2 combo plates and spent $40
Food was decent but was expensive for Mexican

The service was alright but the food wasn’t what I though it would be not a restaurant I would recommend
First off, we were seated promptly without a reservation on a Saturday night although, it was 5pm. We had zero issues during our experience. Our waiter, Hector was very attentive and provided excellent service. We never needed to ask for ANYTHING. He was friendly and smiled pleasantly with every interaction. A hostess, Isabella, made our table-side guacamole fabulously. Conversation with Isabella was very friendly and refreshing. We enjoyed our dinner and service immensely! Also, we met the general manager while he was making rounds and he was a super friendly and informed of some new changes to the menu. This was the Tulsa, OK location and we can’t wait to go back!
Great carnitas fajitas and my fav is they make their own tortillas. Highly recommend
It was just ok. The prices are way too high for what it being served, in my opinion. These are prices that I’d expect to see at a higher level Tex-Mex place in Houston, such as Pappasitos or El Tiempo. The rice seemed like it was either pre-made and reheated, or at least used parboiled rice. Tasted and felt like something I would expect from a hotel convention center, rather than a restaurant. The beef in the soft tacos had good flavor, but the portion was small for the price, and the way the tacos were presented seemed like a way to try and hide how little beef was used. Also, most places offer a small serving of guacamole, sour cream, and/or pico de gallo when ordering steak tacos, but not Tio Julio! Not terrible, but definitely not good enough to justify the price.
We have an awesome dine in experience in this place...we'll be going again..
