While the atmosphere is nice, I'm very upset with my experience. On Halloween, tonight, one of the staff members came to the patio asking if someone had seen a bag. I turned on my flashlight and found a bag under the benches. I went to the bar to return it. There were a couple guys sitting on the side and behind the edge of the bar. I asked them if they worked there.
They said no, but pointed me towards the bartenders.
So I tried to approach the bartender closest, this was the outwardly portraying male bartender there at the time. He proceeded to push me away with his hands and said I wasn't allowed behind the bar. With after sight, I see now I shouldn't have gone behind the bar. I mistakenly did that, but there was no reason he should have put his hands on me. I would have moved on my own all he had to do was use his words. I was only trying to return someone's lost item. I told the security guard before leaving that I'm currently leaving an abusive relationship, trying to go out and have a good time, and then this happens. I feel so violated and defeated. WTF...😢

Went for the first time before the fire. I’ve been back many times after the renovations. I’m so happy this place came back in a big way. Super safe LGBTQ+ spot. Perfect place to chill out. Miss you Tony!

I went to YBR for my wedding after party. The manager was on staff and very thoughtfully gave us a free round and some quarters for the pinball machine. The service was excellent. Wado!

Rude bartender. Asked for a drink, tells me that they’re out of one of two ingredients and then just stares at me, doesn’t offer anything similar, doesn’t say anything. Bad service and won’t be coming back. You never know who could become a regular.

Fun, progressive, inclusive pub! Pinball, pool tables, and lots of places to sit with friends, inside and out. Decor was fun and interesting. Bartender was attentive and friendly. My only concern was the limited parking, with no easy way out of the lot. Looked like you could bring food in. Good prices on drinks.

If you don't know, Tulsa loves a dive bar and YBR fits the bill in all the best ways. Come for a beverage and stay for the community.
YBR has darts, an Elvira pin ball machine, as well as pool tables for those who want a more active bar experience. But, there is always some new decor on the walls that can be a conversation starter, as well as a cozy couch up front equipped with some board games.
The actual bar has the beer and liquor that you would expect, but I love that YBR makes sure to stock some non-alcoholic beverage options for patrons like myself.
YBR is one of my favorite neighborhood hangouts.
